Normally I read from www.wuxiaworld.site because that is where I began reading cnovels. They post directly from webnovel (which is kinda paid official website) and post only the ones written by c authors and translated. So it's easy for me to separate MTLs, novels written by random users and all. So I prefer that website.
But there are actually lots of website where you can read from. Just check out a few website. Whoever's configuration aand translation you find better, you can make it your permanent visit website.

Yeah, it's just I don't have much experience with historical novels. So I just can't understand or predict words in the places with bad translation.
But anyways. I will check it out later, after I finish malicious empress.

Hahah I have been reading c novels since 3 years, and I was suggested malicious empress at the very beginning when I just completed
'Beware Mr officer, Tread carefully', because I liked the scheming cool and masked fl in there.

But because I had never tried historical novel, I didn't read it. Later on after 1 whole year of experience with cnovels, I decided to try it, but the translation was bad.
Later I tried it again last year, because I couldn't find any good modern era cnovels with scheming fl, but again, I was stopped by the bad translation :(
After being disappointed so many times yet being extremely curious about plot,I tried it yesterday again cause someone posted the link with good translation. I am already hooked!

These are kind of fl and ml I need. Black bellied, dark, smart, and gracefully witty! They are always cool!
It's just I have only had experience with modern era cnovels and haven't ever read historical ones, so certain words were a bit difficult to understand. But anyways, malicious empress is my first historical cnovel read, so I am extremely excited too!
Afterall I had a lots of friends suggesting me this novel 3 years ago!

Yeah! I mentioned that in the latter comments! I was just too frustrated by how alarmed she seemed during the interaction between XW and ZZ. It was as if, if she left for a second, then XW would kill ZZ. That looked for a moment that she was treating him like a villain!

Tbh, I feel to certain extent JXN has unconciously started to trust XW more than anyone else.
Look at how she tried to protect XW so many times in front of ZZ and requested him to not complain about XW in the court.
She is just unable to get past the barrier of fear from her past life. The simple misunderstanding that she had from the past life standing like a barrier in her feeling towards him.
