Ikr! I was just about write on it. If they hadn't updated the cast list, I would probably never know that zhang linghe was the male lead. He is character development is such a zero. They literally cut off all his highlights. His character is basically giving me an impression of stupid love in fool with some teensy little contribution to plot developement. Looking back to the whole drama, today's prince yue secret room was probably the only part where he literally contributed to the main plot. They did him so unfair!

Well that's so true! I don't really get why these people are so concerned about others complaining about screentime and stuff. It's a public website where everyone has the right to write their opinions. And the viewers include people who are here for their fav artist and people who are here for drama only! If you find the fans stating their opinions 'toxic' then just ignore it, why do you need to start a fight over it. Besides, let me be honest here, I haven't yet seen a single fan writing hate comments or rude comments towards any of the cast members. They have only complained on director. I am sure the main leads weren't informed that their scenes would be cutoff, and they would be cut from main characters to side characters, when compared to the screentime of sml and sfl.
I felt that too .....but they were in Germany , right?
I have seen this in many chinese webnovels too. They normally refer countries as A,B,C I never really understood why they always just use the 1st letter? Is it some kinda copyright something.

Well, just my personal opinion. I feel it's important to showcase their weakness at first, because only if they showcase that: - GZY as a spoilt little kid, who is naaiver than 10 year old of this generation, only then we find responsible sword weilder GZY as high character developement by the end of story.
- GSJ as just another petty guy, who feels that he is the most able freak, only then, we will Marvel over the GSJ who finally realises that responsibilities are more important than position, and unity is more important than lone ruler by the end of story
- GZS who only cares about JF all day, would realise that she doesnt need her father's opinion to be a responsible gong, even as an individual gong she can fulfill her responsibilities. Only then they can show that a fool in love could do anything for the one she loves. ( besides GZS character is really very complex, though she seems to be the 'happy-go' type in the entire show, she is also someone who wishes for love care approval and respect. She is already used to being looked down by her family, so she stopped caring. She started feeling that it was much more better to chasee after the person who 'cares' for her than seeking around people's approval)
