I don't know why they ruin these dramas just because of scandals of supporting actors. They can just replace him, why do they have to lock up the dramas. Let me be honest, after watching a few of yang chaoyue's previous dramas, I was always disappointed in her acting skills. So I was really scared of this story being ruined because of her acting skills. Since I was looking forward to the plot, but not really looking forward to her acting, I had a mid feeling about this. But,but, but, She did a good job in this drama. Her acting skills have improved to certain extent. The thing is, I was so annoyed with her giving literally same expression for every emotion, but she is did better in this drama. I was able to tell her feelings to certain extent. She seems to be really working hard on her expressions. Great job girl! I am rooting for your improvement journey! And now, I was also a bit scared of Ding yuxi taking the male lead here. Maybe because I have never seen a drama where he did a heavy redemption kinda arc role, so I was not sure of the results. Afterall the dramas of him I watched were either, him being a tantrum prince, or a funny kinda to certain extent. Even in romance between tiger and rose, I did not really get the scheming vibes from him much, may be because of his vibes or figure or whatever idk was the reason( nope I am questioning on his acting skills, his acting skills are really great). But once again, I was so wrong. The fact that he could do the high mighty God of war role so great just absolutely amazing. I am looking forward to this so much now.

It's not that they can't be together because of their family feud ir stuff. It's my personal opinion. Han ye's family caused Di family's death. She lost her whole family overnight and was forced to live a harsh life as an orphan instead of the princess life with a loving family that she was born with and had right to. This serves as reason of guilt to Han ye. You see, in every moment of their life, Anning and Han ye always blame themselves even though both them were not at fault. Same goes for Di Ziyuan with empress dowager. They don't wish to start a relation with these guilt feelings too. Imagine, in a friendship let's say, you probably caused your friend to lose a very very important thing, won't you feel guilty everytime you see her. You would end up always compromising all your life yet won't be able to wash off that guilt. At certain point this friendship would become a burden to your emotions. And that relation would turn from a happy space to a emotionally complex space. Maybe you could apply. That's hy both of them don't wanna get together, because they do not wish to become emotional burden towards each other and start an unhealthy relation. They can only get together, maybe after they are able to let go off their guilt towards each other.
I really love how the story is going finally. I don't know why there many people saying that the plot is really bad, but compared to the costume drama we have been getting over these past 4-5 months except till the end of moon and lost you forever, this one satisfies me the most. It has well planned revenge plot, yeah, maybe not all characters are special to the point that you would feel bad for all of them, but it's pretty much satisfactory. I don't expect character developement of literally ever single character since the drama is basically ' lengend of anle' which means it showcases fl's life and views only. So yeah it's going good.

His character is such a hurdle to fl's personality and goals. He is really the most annoying one in the entire series, even more annoying than the fake di chengen. For god's sake, I don't understand how the brother and sister pair expect Ziyuan to give up her revenge and lead the so-called peaceful life. She lost her entire family, THE ENTIRE FAMILY at the age of 8-11 when she was just a little girl. Not only that, her family is even humiliated till date for something that they hadn't ever done. And these two dumbheads out there want her to literally forget everything because she is 'weak'. If they really cared for her, then they should have helped her with every little bits of her power when they saw her standing up for herself. The fact that they keeps on grumbling things like - " Please forget everything s and lead a peaceful life as Ren Anle" annoys me!
