I am on ep 11 and I really like this drama but… where are the rest of the princes? I mean if they are not related…
In China like everywhere else, many children didn't survive to adulthood. All these born male heirs were acknowledged, even if they didn't see their first birthdays. Besides that, those princes with mothers of lower rank or without family background didn't really had a chance in battles for the throne
My personal advice on Dali Temple would be to continue. The end might not be to your liking but I found the drama…
Thank you both for the suggestion about dali temple. Maybe our problem was the big tv? I never doze in front of my laptop. Still it's a fun and funny memory for us of the earlier days of the pandemic, after that...
I used to persist till the end no matter what! This last 3 years I drop dramas left and right, sometimes even 2 ep before ending. I'm on ep6 of dali temple because I love the FL. Should I drop it? TKEM was a whole new experience for me. I usually watch dramas by myself, except for very popular ones that I watch with 3 other friends after airing is complete. We watched tkem while it was airing and really tried our best, some for lmh, me for wdh. We gave up in the middle of ep10 when I dozed off (had never happened before), my friend texted her bf throughout and my sister couldn't tell what was happening on screen. I wasn't curious about the ending at all!
I love this drama! It's so well plotted and well executed. Lee do hyun deserves an award for this. I wouldn't have minded if there was no love triangle, but I guess it's trying to compare young, successful, cool and swoony Ye JiHoon with Hong DaeYoung to show what truly matters to Dajung? (Something like go back couple)
I didn't like any of this writer's previous works. Dropped two and fast forwarded the third just for the sake of FL. The irony is I started this one just so I could watch PSD, now am just fast forwarding through her scenes, everything else is quite watchable for me if not outstanding... Sorry my dear park sodam, I don't really know why
I think I'm the only one who thinks the first episode was a bit iffy? Maybe it's just weird to how Jung ah and…
This was not among the issues I had with premiere week (had a number of them). Comments like this actually made me curious how people think you should make friends? Is it different based on culture or just personality? I have made some friends even faster than this and those friendships have lasted more than a decade now. We didn't become besties right away, but the connection was almost instantaneous.
There is a reason a love trio lasts for so long and hurts all the people involved; sometimes (if not often) it's the fault of that middle person! Not knowing your own mind, sending mixed signals, wanting to have your cake and eat it too, not caring for anyone's feelings but yourself, enjoying the thrill of it or.... And bc there are not one but two love triangles in this drama that their focus aren't the leads, we can see it is not always an obsessive third wheel that causes all the heartaches. Whatever Jung Kyung's reasons, she's manipulative and self-centered. We know less about Dong Yoon, but he isn't blameless either.
Was very excited to watch this till I saw the credits. Don't understand how such big names like pbg or psd could put their trusts in anything written by Ha MyungHee. I hate everything she writes! I watched temperature only bc of my love for shj, my prayers for a miracle (somewhat good and not totally boring script by this writer) remained unanswered to the last.
I know tkem has enough critical reviews, but for over a year they built our anticipation and expectation for the greatness that was to be this drama, so they shoud bear with the dissapointment of many in their targeted audience. There are maybe worse dramas out there, but they aren't such expensive and self-important productions. So I'm leaving my own comment. I am dropping this! I indured till now for the sake of the others that were watching it with me but just can't go on anymore. It was a novel experience for me, usually I am the one who explains complicated plot points to my friends or anything lost in translation, with this one I was so bored out of my mind and distracted that I missed some apparently important hints and clues or even forgot those that have been introduced before. Guess what! I don't care, I'm not even curious, AT ALL. I don't even care to analyze the problem or criticize anyone, NOTHING was right for me and since I'm not enamored of any of the actors, can't excuse anything for their sakes either. I can only look askance at those who try to convince others of the quality of this drama or even its supposedly intriguing plot, but to each her own...
Yes they need to collab and be an actual couple but I doubt it since not all co-workers get to work together again…
HJE had a reunion with ji sung after 2 yrs and with park seo joon in the same yr. I didn't mean 3rd with CTJ, 3rd with her 2nd male lead. Anyway... was just saying it's possible, don't care for its happening myself.
Well, all I can say is that surely my tolerance has improved through years (not sure if that's a good thing). I watched Heirs for 20 minutes, fast-forwarded for 5 ep and dropped. But I watched this for two ep full, then skipped parts (all of parents stuff) till episode 6 and now I'm dropping it for good. Not even slightly curious about the ending... for any character!
So uhm, why does Cha Do Hyun need a psychiatrist? From my understanding of what a psychiatrist is, it should be…
I know that the eyes color changing shows personality change to us, I just said there is another reason for changes. But I think some changes (eye color) don't make sense and are just digital effects (that somewhat annoy me). But changes in her clothes, real or imagined, the tattoo and hair styles are believable for me and reasonable. I'm with those who think Ji Sung's acting makes it unnecessary to use effects that make the show somewhat unrealistic. I don't think this Drama is in Supernatural category, despite what is written above

IMO they are not just for audience; they show how each personality perceives him/herself. Yuna actually sees herself wearing that pink suit, but Rijin and others see what Cha DoHyun is wearing. The tattoo is like this too; nobody sees the red tattoo except for SeGi. but the eyes' color... I don't know really what they represent
If Oh Ri Jin is the missing child, then arent they related??? Im so confused
What I understood till now is that joonpyo's wife had an affair in US and the child is rijin, so rijin and dohyun are the children of a married couple, but they are not related by blood (both are out of wedlock).
and why dohyun's mom was worried was discussed between kijoon's parents.
Besides that, those princes with mothers of lower rank or without family background didn't really had a chance in battles for the throne
