Pls tell me more about the novel and some parts which are not included.. I am not really a good reader 😭😭…
If my memory serves me right, jiang si actually saves yu qi from being sold during childhood so he has been harboring feelings for her for a very long time. He gets very disappointed when he found out she was engaged but does nothing bc he hears she was happy(in previous life). our yu qi is actually from the past life of jiang si, he sacrificed himself for her(in the novel he goes mad after she dies). He has experienced everything jiang si has but he lost the memories. I believe he didnt lose any of his feelings for jiang si and thats why he’s down bad for her. That sums up ig. I remember he was more losery in the novel.
Ps- he gets poisoned and instead of taking antidote(that he has it ready in his pockets)he goes and lies infront of jiang si’s house and acts pitiful to get her sympathy 🫂
Another scene-the officials pressure him to marry concubines but he rejects them and retaliates by not coming to court for weeks straight and they eventually are forced to give in. They have birth scene as well in the novel😭
One thing i really like what was different from the novel is consort xian’s love for yu qi. This change was really good in my opinion. But i disliked the sad music that played at every villain’s death. That was very unnecessary. We aint gonna pity the blood thirsty woman.
I need the scene where yu jin refuses to take in concubines and compels officers to accept jiang si as his one and only wife I also need to see their children 😭😭 I was really hoping to see the last scene of emperor emeritus and empress playing the ‘chess’ like game while discussing about yu qi and jiang si. I thought this time it would be with yu qi’s mother
gah! i think SR refused to talk to MH before engagement because SR was afraid MH would sabotage her engagement, damn i really cant like the SR character
That sums up ig. I remember he was more losery in the novel.
