He's very similar to Qi Min when it comes to the forced love moments. However he has morals and knows what is right and wrong. He's extremely possessive, but can control himself. Unlike in the drama, he's grumpy, cold and has bad temper but not in a way that you would hate him for it. He was already good to Changyu and Changning. He just wasn't as nice and cute as in the drama. He was in his general persona. The best scene that portrayed his personality the best was in today's episode 32 when the eunuch came... I don't wanna spoil it to you if you haven't watched it yet.

Yeah... I feel like the director wanted people who watch slice of life to watch this, too. At first I was happy they kept everything but now... we definitely needed less of the town arc. At least 4-5 episodes shorter.
After watching Goodbye, my princess I understand why the drama had to be 55 episodes long. The pacing was slower, not rushed and it made sense why it had to be that long.
