That's true. Even with POJ there were issues and things could've been a bit better in some episodes, but seeing it on screen is always a different experience.

i honestly heard about the novel before. but I only watched cdrama back then. I didn't read novels. You're probably the only one who feels this way hahaha people on social medias don't like Dylan as the ML. And it's honestly sad because Dylan can play anything. I watched 4-5 dramas with him and he's literally good at anything. he can play the innocent and the evil character. I don't know the FL. So I wonder how's her acting. People complained even about her. That she can't act etc... So the FL is more complicated to play the the ML 🤔 I saw them too! I try to avoid spoilers tho haha. But the chemistry is there and that's important.

I'm still sad about that... if only we had 60 episodes od POJ. And this novel is even longer so I wonder how will they fit everything in... hopefully they won't cut any episodes. I don't mind when the focus is more on the FL (unlike some people haha) so I'll enjoy that part a lot! I do wonder how is the romance, so I guess I'll have to see for myself :) I wanna start reading it very soon because I honestly miss reading Chinese novels.

the problem with this drama is that the transitions are not smooth. Either everything is happening out of the sudden or too slowly haha. I didn't read the novel but I can see that fitting everything into 33 episodes was just impossible... and cutting 7 episodes made it so much more messy. I wonder if there would be improvements with the 7 cut episodes.

the scene with Master was really sad 😅 spending so much time looking for someone and at the end you find them but they die almost immediately

yeah they do have chemistry but the romance is not as prominent as the plot rn. I don't mind it either. i find it boring when they get together too soon.

the wig and makeup makes them look unrecognizable sometimes 🤣

Watch this if you like more plot than the romance... if you don't mind misunderstandings and betrayal. If you don't mind lower budget CGI 👀 it's honestly not that bad but I've seen better.

I don't read comments a lot but I actually enjoy this drama. The plot is easy to understand so I don't have to think hard! Don't expect a masterpiece, tho!
