They literally cannot comprehend an open ending. They want everything spoon-fed and wrapped up neatly.
People here do that constantly! it's so frustrating. It's like with the show Game of Thrones. The ending was horrible. But does it automatically mean that the whole show was trash? No. It's still has a very high rating. Idk why people on here are so critical.
The actors did an amazing job. They are so talented...
hey ya all. This drama is 60% over and Da Rim in ep 8 is THE SAME AS IN EP 1, that is the problem. ZERO CHARACTER…
Okay, I understand your view, but when they met again, he was angry at her. He wanted her to quit because of what happened with them on the Jeju island, which is understandable because if she was really married and a had a kid then she was the most wicked person ever to lead him onto something more.
I think that's why she was afraid of explaining it. She still had the debt. Let's not forget about that. So, she desperately needed money and she had no one to ask for help except for Seon U, but would she do that when he has a little kid to take care of?
And we have to think less logically about it even if we want to. This is a rom-com, and the whole plot of this drama is the lie and fake marriage š if this was a thriller or some other genre I'd take it more seriously, but if Da Rim didn't lie, this drama would only have 2 episodes.

No, I don't mean growth as a wedding. Don't twist something, I didn't even say :)
I think Da Rim is slowly realizing how bad is to lie since she realized she feels something towards Ji Hjeok.
If she didn't lie, she could've openly speak about her feelings, but because she doesn't want to loose a proper job, and the money that she needs for paying the medical bills, as well as for other things, it's better for her to not reveal anything.
If I was her instead, I wouldn't tell him the truth either because what if the relationship doesn't work out, and I'm once again without a job and money that my mother desperately needs to stay in the hospital.
I'm not saying it's right to lie, but I understand her reasons.
She's tired of lying. We could see that in the latest episodes. She's slowly breaking down because her personal feelings got involved.
We're only on episode 8. There can still be space for her growth. I don't think it needs to be shown in half of the drama, but that's my personal opinion :)
I understand why y'all are not happy with the ending but 8.1? That's crazy. You don't look at the whole thing. It's as if you rated the drama 5 stars when you only watched 2 episodes.

The show is not over yet. I'm sure she'll have a character development in the last episodes. And what exactly is the problem? That she was lying to get a job?
i haven't come to the comment section ever since, because i already knew exactly what would be going on here.…
and this is why I stopped reading the comments... I literally get so angry because no one understands the plot of this drama or the FL. It feels like 10 year old girls are watching it because there's no way in hell you'd choose a guy instead of a job you desperately need because everyone around you failed you and you have to save your family. She didn't even know him at the beginning! He was a stranger š¤¦š»āāļø and her mother is far more important.
people like to complain. if they dont like it, dont like tropes, then why even bother watching a rom com built…
People just hate flawed characters as if we are all perfect and aren't selfish and they purposely watch dramas that are not their thing to hate on it š¤·š»āāļø
i just finished the episode and am i dumb idk why there's so many people complaining. the entire plot is the lie…
People can't read. They have eyes but are blind, lol. Just from the synopsis you know there will be A LOT of misunderstandings š¤¦š»āāļø but they still chose to watch this and trash on it. And I've seen numerous comments a few weeks ago where they said they should've already reveal the truth and we were on episode 4 š. I'm starting to feel like these people don't watch enough K-dramas to know how they work because that's crazy. We finally have a proper slow burn and all the people are constantly complaining!
y'all would never survive a c-drama that is 36 episodes long with thousands of misunderstanding šš all I hear is complaints... just drop it and watch something else! no one is forcing you into liking it. I love that they're not together yet. You wanted the truth to be revealed by episode 5 like what? This is 14 episodes long and they barely knew each other.
