I think the credit for this pace goes to the screen writer and the way its executed to the director..the time line given to each character is what i appreciate..first i was annoyed with MJL but his past story made me sympathies for him ..then YY girl is not bad just she dont know what to do the sheltered daughter...who thought she found shelter ..is actually here abandoning ground.....i dont know but i would enjoy if the marquis and the concubine consert rebel against the empress(that would absolute cinema)+ the young Emperor is good at playing his cards ..we can see the variations in the makeup which is rare for c-drama they would rather white wash the character rather than showing it was the makeup + i think its the tang dynasty makeup cause i saw few murals of that time and the makeup is similar to them the pink blush from eyes to mouth ..the side line ..its exactly the same as it is depicted in those murals...
