I'm enjoying this drama so much after the C-drama drought, but please—the palace is killing me! It's way too red. I know the Wanning State era had a red hue, but not to the extent that everything is red. The clothes, the walls... they even didn't leave the coffin alone! HELP!!!!! +its autum the palace would be my murder ground if i entered in at autum time!!
I know one thing for sure: by the end of this drama, I will definitely have a red phobia. 😂
My eyes are telling me that Yan Lai is totally puppy-coded. 🐶 He gives off the same puppy energy as the male lead in GTG, though I ended up dropping that drama.
