Yeah, and I don't know... I've never seen the ML in a historical drama before, so while watching, it was hard for me to see him in the costume. Also, what's up with that hairstyle?! I was always praying, "Please don't be in the same hairstyle!"

That’s exactly what I was thinking every time she took on a new case. I was literally praying she wouldn’t end up with more than two deaths—but she’s like, “Everything I touch surely dies.” And the emperor? Total douchebag.

Also, I really didn’t like how stiff the ML felt. Every time he was on screen, I kept thinking, what the hell is wrong with his expression? It was the same issue I had while watching “The Double.”

Yeah, it gets darker after episode 10, I think he would enjoy it. BTW, what are you watching? I started GTG and I was struggling to get through it.

I think you need to watch episode 2, then you'll understand he wasn't being cowardly, but rather caught in a mess ..which is kind of big mess that was revealed in ep 2

Wang Xing Yue's character feels morally gray to me. I'm finding it hard to connect with what I'm watching; it feels somewhat flat. While I understand it's the character's portrayal, his stiff expressions don't seem to suit him.
And Bai Lu girl(as your fan) you were scammed with this script

Bro🥹🥹 I'm back again! I've watched it for the 4th time, and it still makes me cry. Such a well-executed drama... I will watch it again in the rainy season. I don't know why, but it's the *only* best drama for me; I've never cried for a drama like this before.
