Yeah :/ It's really unfortunate too because what could be a place for interesting dialogue and actor/show appreciation gets permeated with negativity by people who shouldn't be here in the first place lol

General reminder that this is a mature series, with mature content, and a cast full of grown people.

If you are a chronically online minor, or otherwise cannot understand that, you should not be submersing yourself in these mature spaces or interacting with this type of media. Your inability to consume adult content without affixing your own immaturity onto heavily nuanced subjects beyond your comprehension is not the hot take you think it is.

Also, bl fans of all ages who apparently still can't do this, please learn how to separate actors from the roles & characters they play. They are human beings with real lives and feelings and are not one-dimensional dolls existing to fulfill your projected fantasies.

this show is camp as hell and i really do mean that in the best way. if you have the ability to power through some admittedly unapologetically cringy scenes, your payoff is the experience of what amounts to be an actually pretty great series. i've been pleasantly surprised on this one and i think more people would share this opinion if they gave it a real chance. the influx of impressively sexy scenes certainly doesn't hurt either. or the fact that it's made me genuinely laugh out loud on numerous occasions.
