My honest take about this series

People seem to misunderstand the actual moral of the story. No, it’s not an anti-AI message, nor is it the ideal of a better world where people take accountability for their actions. It is a much simpler, harsher fact: the heart wants what it wants.
Some people, no matter how horribly or terribly they’ve been treated, still hold onto a "plastic heart" that always forgives. Yet, they are also selfish enough to prevent these toxic people from facing consequences, simply because consequences would mean separation (even if separation is what's best for them).
My idea of a happy ending would be all three characters going their separate ways:
* Koh being prosecuted for his crimes while healing from his insomnia.
* Jira restarting his life, figuring out what he truly wants, and learning some humility.
* Pheem coming to understand that people’s feelings aren't disposable and taking his share of accountability, since he was Koh’s accomplice, even if reluctantly. He needs to be humbled too (given his playboy persona), though at least he seemed to be the only one who got any real karma.
At the very least, this story shows how horrible these dynamics look from the outside, hopefully encouraging those with "plastic hearts" to apply a little logic when dealing with toxic people.

Leaving idealisms aside, the acting, the scenography, the pain, all of them were superb.
