Thanks for this review. I was just wondering, are the tags on this page about incest and child abuse spoilers?…
Welcome and thank you for reading. One of those tag is already considered a spoiler. :o But I guess it is a heads up for people uncomfortable with this genre.. ( sorry for the late reply )

The episode 1 is amazing. Great cinematography and quality acting. Plot-wise, it's your typical detective drama-like story BUT it warms the heart like how the book did ♪ Also expect 'some' actions from both Suda Masaki and Yamada Takayuki. Honestly, the guests are stellar for each episode too.

On Hello, My Twenties! Feb 3, 2018
This drama was so good. Finished it in about 3 days. That's how good it was for me. I have stopped watching k-dramas for 3-4 years now... I've been so picky..I've nothing against K-dramas but they just happen to be my cup of tea. You could say preferences changes over time and I've sticked with J-dramas a lot up to this day. One of the reasons is probably the fact that J-dramas tend to tackle more about life in general rather than focusing on romance. I'm not trying to compare both as both has its charm.. My point is that this drama has the right balance. Great cinematography ( though honestly most K-dramas got this one ), great script and plot, great chemistry between the actors and most especially, it tackles something all of us could somehow relate to. Youth.

Of course, we can't relate to them 100% in a sense but the fact that we all are somehow going through worries and struggles of our own ,it felt like a piece of us are being drawn in front of the screen. I love how the drama started out quite peaceful and before we knew it, we're somehow glued to our screen wondering what the background of these five different girls are, why and how they came to be this way. And wow, everyone had a magnificent, well-written character development. If I were to pick a favorite among the girls and their love team then it would be Jin-Myung. People might see this character as a boring one but I do not think so, it's amazing how she was written so realistically. Though looking back, all of them had a realistic touch; how Eun Jae is your typical shy/ timid girl who just wants to have friends and fit in on her first day of school; Yi Na, the type of girl who's easygoing and just does whatever she wants; Jin Myung, your typical smart classmate who's more serious about her life than anyone else; Song, your talkative classmate who's one of the boys; and Ye Eun, that one girl who's cute and clingy to her boyfriend. I loved it so fucking much, the five girls, both as their characters and them as an actresses. Totally, squad goals and I cannot get enough of their friendship. I'm glad that there is a second season and I can't wait for what's in store. It's so heartwarming that anyone that's having a not-so-good day could feel cheered up.. and I should stop here!

It's gotten this long but I just want to say I hope everyone ( those who haven't tried this out yet ) would give this a try because it's not just a simple drama as it seems to be, there are a lot of dynamics and amazing stuffs inside. You'll get drawn to it, for sure.

Also, this is avaible on Netflix as "Hello, My Twenties" in case anyone wants to watch it !

Been wanting to try the drama when the news of the Live-action came out, and I was more than excited after hearing that Kentaro and Kuroshima Yuina are starring in it. I didn't ship both actors but rather, I liked them both individually. But so far after seeing 6 subbed episodes of this drama, I just love it to the bits. It's not your usual Shoujo Romance Live action. I think they even made the Sengoku Era as the central theme followed by the romance, so it's something that the general audience could enjoy. Moreover, the chemistry between the two leads are undeniably cute and natural. I hope people could check this out. This feels like such an underrated drama!

Can you tell me who the girl ends up with
Sadly the manga is still ongoing.... so even up to this point, I'm not sure who she'll end up with.

Where did you watch it?
Oh I watched this in our local cinema :)
I watched this on a whim and I have no regrets at all. It's a sweet and touching drama and I should be thanking Netflix for this. Given that I'm a gamer and fan of Final Fantasy myself, the title caught me. Anyway, Chiba Yudai's acting is the usual but still perfect for his role. I especially love the interaction between his character and his dad. It depicts how much freedom the Internet world gives us and it may not be as bad as we thought because we could meet friends from there and receive encouragement as well. A recommended drama :)

This movie is splendid. I didn't anticipate it as much at first but thought I'd give it a try because I am a fan of the manga but my expectations weren't betrayed at all and it had me sitting on the edge as I watch the show. They kept the important details and although there may be confusing scenes or transitions ( for me ), I really had fun watching. I was totally awed by Kubota Masataka's performance as Kaneki. I finally got why the author personally handpicked him for the role. What totally surprised e and made me felt regretful was how great Shimizu Fumika was as Touka.. I was not a fan of her but she had me thinking she's such a great actress all throughout. As for the special effects of the movie, I must say it surpassed the CG of Kiseijuu / Parasyte for me. It's a movie where it'll have you ask for more, in my honest opinion.
On Closest Love to Heaven Sep 26, 2017
I've anticipated the film ever since the news came out ( sadly not because I'm a fan of the manga nor the actresses or the actor ) but merely for the theme song and the cameo appearance of Kawakami Yoohei BUT after watching it , I liked how they tried to fit in the many chapters of the manga into a 2 hour long film while still managing to keep the important details. I personally think Marie Iitoyo's acting is still raw but she did fit the image of the innocent-looking protagonist Nino and Taishi, well, what would anyone have expected, he's an actor with a lot of potential truly. It was a bliss to see him act out the crying scenes and not to mention, he and Marie had a lot of chemistry.. soI must say it was a good watch... (I'm not a fan of Shoujo LA at all but I think people could give it a try if you're not sick of the illness cliched plot yet ) :p

I've read the manga and I'm not that much of a fan BUT after seeing the casts for this ( with Ayamin and Yuta ) , I 'm truly looking forward to this!
For someone who didn't have much expectation of the show and only thought how ridiculous it was for Japan to make a live action out of this ( even though I love the casts ) , I actually thought it was a pretty okay film. It had slow tendencies and I'm not sure but it felt lacking to me, but overall it was something I managed to sit through throughout the 2 hours long show. One of the highlights of the film, I must say, is Okada Masaki's potrayal of his role! ( Don't get me wrong, I loved the whole casts and I thought hey've all done well but Okada Masaki was really good. ). Anyway, I think it's still a show people will enjoy viewing especially for Yamazaki Kento fans. :)

This one was how I expected it to be -- Just your light and casual drama on fashion and women in their 30's to 40's depicting their struggles as they strive for the top while juggling work from behind. However, as typical as it goes, I truly had fun watching this and anticipated each week's episode. I love the whole casts and their chemistry as well, especially that of Ito Ayumi and Maki Yoko. The ED theme is also pleasant to watch and hear. Please check it out !
