How can 25 minutes be over so fast? I love everything about this series, even the ex who isn't evil for a change, and Asuka who definitely deserves a series of his own. I'm already waiting for next Wednesday.
Seng and Billy were already amazing in SCOY which started like an OTT comedy and turned out to be one of the best series of the year thanks to them. Since then, it seems they have both made a big step forward. Great start into this series.
I was about to drop this show after episode 3, but now I'm glad I didn't, for two reasons, and they both involve Rain. No. 1: For me, Phayu and him are the real leads of this show, and they are amazing together. No 2: Rain and Shun's kiss felt much more real than 95% of all kisses in BL series. I didn't like Noh too much in Nitiman, but here he is doing a great job.
I'll rather not say anything about the Khim/Sun storyline, or I'll start ranting.
If you're looking for a fly in the ointment, you'll sure find one. I'll rather enjoy the ointment and ignore the fly. So I can love this show wholeheartedly..
After yesterday's "Star and Sky" disaster, it's great to watch a series with a real script, with a director who knows his job, and with actors who can actually act. This show is also improving since they stopped shifting from OhmNanon to JimmySea and vice versa. I hope we're getting to see a series with OhmNanon in the parallel universe.
I love this show. It's cute, it's funny, and all the actors are great. My favourite is Oku Tomoya, though. He is a very talented actor, given he's only 18.
Episode 1 wasn't good, episode 2 was worse. Watching a writer who isn't writing, and a band that isn't playing, isn't much fun. Well, at least Plengrak is making coffee.
I liked this series a lot. Like the tiktok series "Bad Roommate", they simply didn't have the time for all those fillers and tropes of longer series. The actors were surprisingly good, too. If this is a kind of Thai tiktok Gameboys, please let there be a Thai tiktok Gameboys 2.
When this remake was announced I was wondering how they would turn a series of 4 short episodes into a series of 10 longer episodes without adding loads of fillers and unnecessary drama. Now I think they are doing a brilliant job, because instead of adding fillers they take their time explaining the characters and displaying the evolution of their relationship. I also like it that the characters aren't black or white, but they have both strengths and weaknesses like real human beings.
Apart from the good script and directing, it is the cast that is brilliant even in the smaller support roles that makes this series the best Thai series that is currently airing.
Usually it's an evil ex-girlfriend everybody hates, this time it's a guy which doesn't make it any better. But Yanase and Kaneda are so cute together that Benji can't remove the smile from my face.
In previous episodes, it was only Ton I liked. But I must admit I enjoyed episode 5. Maybe it's getting better gradually, or maybe I'm getting used to it.
I'll rather not say anything about the Khim/Sun storyline, or I'll start ranting.
