I watched this drama because I saw a clip of it on IG, it has a review of 7.0 on Dramalist, plus I've seen one of the MLs in another drama that I quite liked. Now after watching it, I can honestly say it was not good...like at all. The only scenes that were good was when they were kissing, which I'm sorry, but does not make good drama. Everything seemed rushed or hectic and I don't take the small amount of episodes as an excuse because I've seen many other miniseries that provided a much better and cohesive plot. Also, because the plot was so atrocious it made the bad acting even more noticeable. And I'm all for young actors needing time to develop their talents but because the plot was no where in site it just highlighted it all the more. Watch it once if you want to give support but there is no need to watch it again, I promise you.

It was alright, but that's about it.

Okay, so let's start with this first. I was very interested in the concept of this drama. I'm totally into fantasy and sci-fi b/c it forces writers to be smart. Creating an entire universe is not easy and it takes A LOT of nuances. So I was excited to see what they were going to come up with in the end. What they came up with was nothing, besides a few differences no big changes in this new universe. Fine, we move. But as things continue I see there was literally nothing else that had to do with fantasy AT ALL. It was just so weird, how such a concept had absolutely no follow through except for literally three episodes. It was sad. However, I am open to things not going the way I thought in dramas as long as it's still interesting and fun. I will say this drama did have fun moments but none of them were interesting.
It was a boring drama, with nothing of merit happening in the background of the relationship b/t the leads. Which, again, I think you can get away with if the couple is super interesting, super fun, super cute, and super hot. Now Puen and Talay were so adorable and they definitely had their moments that made me laugh and cry (ep 9 was my fav), BUT they were not that interesting as a couple. It's the truth.
So all in all, it was okay. Which sucks because they really could have really went for it with this drama but it seems like they just held back on so much. Even Sea and Jimmy seemed like they were holding back, which made some moments seem awkward and look uncomfortable. They made up for it by having sweet moments together that definitely made me say "awwww." But this drama only has moments nothing much more beyond that.

I NEED TAI AND JAN TO HAVE A SERIES IMMEDIATELY!!

So, first things first, the drama is good. I thought the concept was really nice and interesting. Yes I have seen the universe jumping theme before, but I still liked this one as well. What I did not like about it was the lack of realism/complication when both usually arises in these types of situations. I think the writers added Ya's mind reading ability so that it wouldn’t be so complicated and we could just go straight into them being a possible romantic coupling. Am I okay with it just because it keeps the story going a little bit quicker, yes. However I will say that someone who’s a little bit more picky than me is going to have an issue. Like I did have questions; is Apo in Poptharn's world or did he just dead? We did get to discover he was still alive at the end however what did the real Apo mean when he said that he’s found someone that loved him as he is? Like I wanna see his journey too. There were a lot of possible unanswered questions and things that were a little bit too convenient. For example, Ya having this ability in this new universe and it’s like not even a universe for like other people have abilities. It’s literally just him so Thorn really landed in the exact time in the exact place with the exact person with the exact ability that would make it easier for him to gel into this world. It’s just all a little bit too convenient, but you know what fine I'll go with it. I mean it’s a 10 episode drama most likely it’s not gonna be the most detailed show. Plus, I’ve seen worse. Now moving onto the coupling I really did like them. I liked each one of them for their different ways. Now, am I absolutely in love with this couple? Not really I’m not gonna lie. BUT do I really like this couple? Yes, I do I like each of them. I love how supportive they are to one another. I love that they show that they care. I think they show their kindness. Ya being a Scorpio makes so much sense because he literally read Thorn's mind once and then all of a sudden he is in love. Very Scorpio coded lol When it comes to the conflict of the story outside, of course like you know the entire universe jumping it was like you know who ran over Apo and it’s just like it wasn’t really focused on that much. I actually forgot that that even happened and they brought into focus because again it seemed like the main focus was Thorn’s assimilation into this new world and the difficulties that showed up for him again they weren’t severe difficulties again from what it was shown, but I did appreciate that there was a moment where y’all was talking about saying popcorn‘s actual name. I love that that was such a beautiful scene. What I really liked about this drama that they were just really good moments that kind of solidified "we are a couple" instead of feeling like it was forced. NOW I absolutely ADORED the sl couple. They are the reason why I started watching this drama (I saw a clip on YT) and I’m so happy that I got to see their progress! I NEED THEM TO HAVE A DRAMA!! I needed to happen. I don’t know who I need to talk to you. I don’t know who y’all need to talk to, but we need to make them have a drama together because I love their chemistry together. Their chemistry was so soft and like a little mysterious and curious and light but still very real very present very there you know. I could tell and I really love that so I’m down for either a sequel or them having like their own little drama together which of course is more likely. I really like this drama was very cute and very happy that I watched it. I would recommend it if you just want something short, sweet and soft.

This was not good...like at all.

It was bad guys. Like I'm surprised how bad it was.

The sad part is that I wanted so much better for them that this but this was horrible.

I blame the storyline the most because it was basically absent. Like there was not overarching theme that tied the events that occurred together. I mean if you're not going to make the relationship the forefront of the story, you gotta BRING IT. There was nothing captivating, riveting, or fun about this drama. It was honestly just so poor.

The acting needs to be criticized as well, because come on. There were no moments of me connecting with a scene or character because there really didn't seem to be any real emotion present. I think they were attempting to give the MC a TharnType type of relationship (one character blindly in love, other character being ambivalent/nonchalant but secretly loving it). However with MewGulf you could FEEL the passion from both of them. Although there were moments where I felt it from Joong (I appreciated his commitment) I often wondered if Dunk's character even liked Joke.

I want everyone involved in this production to reflect, because it was just horrible.
