Started great but kinda went downhill
I LOVE zhaolusi and she really ate with the outifts. The beginning is so good, the plot, supense, hair, makeup, outfits. I really enjoyed that "trying to fit in high society" vibe and the elegance. It kinda went downhill when Xu Yan broke up with Haoming and lowk got boring when she started the business. Don't get me wrong, I love independant women but I don't really wanna watch how she builds a business... I loved the cryinng scenes, I felt so sad and cried too... Haoming pmo so bad like Xuyan should have ended alone as like a news anchor or something. I would def rewatch the first half but might not watch the second. The only part of the second part I liked was the food blogger part, I thought it was funny.Was this review helpful to you?

HILARIOUS
If you want to laugh hella tons, watch it. I laughed so hard in the first few episodes bc it was so funny, especially since I'm chinese and can understand some of what they are saying. The FL acting was great, sometimes if the acting is weird I find it hard to wartch, ML acting was ok but theres just some actors that are hard to watch. This ML actor was decent but could be better. I love the food concept as I am a foodie and I love the family dynamic. The storyline was okay and the slow burn was there. Watch if you wanna laugh!Was this review helpful to you?

Great plot filled with twists
I think it's a great drama, I binged this on my PA day and was really interested in the romance. I prefer slow burn, but they got together lowk kinda fast lmao. The cases and cororner part were really good and the ending was not what I expected but it made sense. Landy's acting is great but Ruipeng could kinds improve bc sometimes it kinda cringe. I like it to be realistic, not overdramatic. The side couples were also really cute.Was this review helpful to you?
