Okay, the banner totally tricked me. I thought this was going to be a fierce singing competition but with a passionate romantic story. Alas, how mistaken I was! I liked the story, it was just a bit too dramatic and extreme near the end with little bits off fluffy pieces, but that's it. I watch drama, not for the drama, but for the cute romance. I think Bromance does a better job at portraying fluffy romance and not overly exaggerate the drama, which wasn't the case in Beautiful Secret...
I think this show is one of the better chinese drama out there. It leaves me wanting for more after every episode, the pacing is very good so I never got bored and every scene and dialogue has a reason. Great watch!
This drama hit the right note from the very first episode for me and never failed to disappoint. It's definitely on the list of my all time favorites. 9.5/10 Bravo!
Well, to be honest, it's been a while since I've watched it. I vaguely remember I felt frustrated because of how lame I thought it to be, at the time. I knowmy word of choice isn't well thought, I'm basically hating on it, but the the fact that I managed to watch the whole thing till the ending means it must have been an okay drama. i just think it wasn't that worthwhile.
