Very warmhearting short, yet beautiful drama. I want to say "not long enough :(" but I think leaving it at that length was also perfect.
I watched this after I seen Strong Woman DBS and I disliked the drama, Ji Soo was annoying too there so I was sceptical to see his acting here. Boy was I wrong, loved his character here, very well portrayed and acted. Recommend to watch if you have a spare 3 hours :)
Just watched this in 2017 recommended by a friend, first few eps when it involves younger actors/actresses were better overall than the rest of the grown-up side. It had more chemistry romantically, acted better... Han Ga In is a pretty babyface but her acting was bland, instead of acting it was more like reading a script.. Loved that Hyeong Seon (King's Eunuch) he is probably my fave character in here lol. I believe it's overrated here at MDL.
just marathoned this drama in 2 weeks... them bittersweet feels, such rollercoaster of emotions. so many love-hate relationships. definitely the most intelligent drama i've ever seen, and that's coming from someone who doesn't really like political historical drama. I came here after watching Rebel btw. YGS <333 and Han Ye Rui so captivating even little screentime.
I really hate historical dramas but can someone at least tell me where I can start with historical dramas? Would…
I highly recommend Rebel: Thief Who Stole the People (2017) to start with. I also dislike sageuk (historical) dramas but fell in love every single second from watching it.
though I do have one question.. I didnt quite get what's with the bouncing fishing bobber/floats near the end.. was it supposed to somewhat indicate to the viewer that Jin Oh is fine? Coz it made Se Ju and Seol smiled.. or just happy they caught a fish lol, it just felt abit out of place, maybe someone can clarify? :) ty
I found the start was a bit slow, but never doubted its potential (give it at least 3eps). The friendship, romance, BROmance... everything just felt so smoothly coherent. Some tears toward the end, but plenty of laughing moments too. I was fully immersed within the story. Overall very great drama with wonderful script and executed impeccably.
best sageuk i've seen (haven't seen SFD yet), from music to acting, writing, directing, every single element is bloody top notch! Appreciate how they don't overuse the superstrength element, rather makes the fights and problem solving believable. Main couple so adorable!
8.7 is severely underrated, 11/10 from me. DAEBAK!
Just finished binge watching this hillarious drama, the bromance is top notch! story is immersive, acting is superb, music is perfect! one of The only few 10/10 I've rated, highly recommend!
A bit confused at the ending scene? So is that guy at the end baek sung ll ahjussi? Or just someone who looks…
I also same as always7989 kinda didnt get it, thanks for the clear up, have had Bad Guys in a while but haven't had time to watch it, sure as hell i am now!
Urgh. This is the first I've ever hated a male lead character so much, that it just boils me with anger. I'm at…
I'm also not trying to pick a fight or anything remotely close to that. I was just stating my own opinion, which disagrees with your comment especially because you have not finished watching to the end. At first I was also annoyed at the story development, how the main guy could just steal someone else's woman while dumping that person into jail at the same time. But as the story progresses I just learned to deal with it, that this story could realistically apply in real life. If I was to be Do Kyung, what would I have done in that situation? It was definitely a tough decision, either way not telling her from the start is wrong and misleading. BUT, maybe that was for the better for the woman's sake too, since her ex-fiance (Tae Jin) egoistically kept the truth from her to "not burden her", which actually backfired too. This will all be explained in the later episodes. Seeing since you probably haven't continued from where you left off, my reply could be a spoiler even to you, if so I'm sorry, but I was just explaining as you asked what my 2cents meant. I hope that helps you in someway to see the drama in a more positive perspective, so you can try to finish it off :)
PS. I also felt at the beginning "why this drama the main couple don't even have any good vibes, don't even feel like they suit each other". My mind was changed though.
Loved this solid drama about the ups and downs of life. There were some moments where I honestly felt like it was a little repetitive, but the message it sends to its viewers is so worth to finish it all the way! Well done Directors/Producers/Writers/Actors and the whole crews! Solid 9.0 from me and certainly looking forward to more Eric's and Hyun jin noona's future works! Fighting!
Can anyone explain me ?When Hong Nan passed by Sung Jae she had long hair then in another scene with Rain she…
I think they are one and the same, just perhaps the short hair version encounter happened in different times as when Sung Jae passed her when she was jogging with long hair. Either way I am happy with how it ended :3
Truly one of the best drama I've seen in my life. mixture of every emotion, awesome plot, impeccable actings all executed in harmony keeping me glued to my seat! Last ep made me cried, and I barely cry on any dramas, that says alot =P
can someone explain why Han Gi Tak becomes a female? is it to remember his sister? or know how his sister felt?…
In my opinion it's because she had to become a woman, to be able to get closer to both female protagonists (his sister and the love of his life), while trying to get things right in that lifetime.
