Sadly, a fall from grace. When it started the ratings were 8.8, sad to see it fall to a mere 8.2, nothing is to be blamed except for the awfully paced ending and lack of tying off loose ends.
This drama was a slow burn and I hate those types of drama and usually skim through it, fast-forwarding the miscellaneous parts, but surprisingly in this drama, I did not want the episodes to end. It was a deep watch, I think it was like a love letter to all those who like to see the deep meanings of dialogue. I don't know if the Korean-to-English translations perfectly captured the true meanings for all the lines, but they were fine for the lines I did check. I am still confused about why I was so captivated by this, maybe because I related to the character's feeling of losing oneself. I give it a 9.5/10 rating, a .5 rating cut because I don't like to see affairs but even though they were somewhat tolerable in this, I don't know why(Maybe because there were barely any affairs). Other than that, watch this drama if you are going through something, it will help you relate to the characters. The other melodrama in which I strongly related to the characters was 'My Mister'. Give that also a watch if you like this one. 'Lost' and 'My Mister' will do either of 2 things to a person suffering from depression, it will either make it more severe or it will lessen the load even for a little time. For me thank god it was the latter. Whenever I watched these dramas, I cried but it also helped me learn even for a small moment that other people also feel the same even if it was fictitious. For the time I stuck to the screens, the burden was lightened even for a moment, but the sad thing was I had to go back to suffering my life.
Being pronounced not guilty and actually being not guilty are two seperate things, honey. If you have some notes in your pocket you can get away with anything.
are you really trying to justify HIS actions? no matter what STOP the victim blaming? even the given circumstances…
Justice is even more difficult to attain in those so called developed countries. Money rules there, so don't be delusional. The victim might get a sentence for being poor while the accused goes scott free because they are rich.
objectively speaking, A asked him to go over her place to install blinds. who invites a person late at night to…
Be careful while saying "suggestive" behaviour. Verbal consent is the only type of consent. Rapists might use the excuse of the victim wearing suggestive clothing, so they were justified in their disgusting actions.
I was under the influence while driving yesterday and I hit a dog and a light pole. I went to court and they had no evidence so I was let go, didn't even get a fine, still a clean record. What does that make me?
How can the actors work with Lee Jin Wook after knowing what he did? But people still work with Lee Kyung Young, I guess Jin Wook is a small fry in crime compared to Kyung Young. Hope karma is real.
