Extremely high quality drama, but you need to pay full attention when you watch it. This takes the same amount of brain power as preparing for a presentation. You need to keep in mind each and every detail.
Again for some reason, I hated that the characters kissed. I don't know, I think them falling in love is not something I like. Writers should have shown some redeeming quality already.
People are saying that the cheating can be forgiven since the husband was grieving and drunk. Sooo...drinking and driving is not a crime then. Adultery is Adultery and that's fact.
My take on this drama after reflecting on it for the past few days: 1) This drama is not underrated nor overrated (Well, slightly overrated). 2)The cast is very expensive, I think the most expensive Kdrama ever. (I don't know if this is just a rumour, but i think the budget was 50 billion Korean won)3) Writing was a little off after the first half of the drama (Writer decided to put every melodramatic trope in the history of Kdramas). 4) Acting was phenomenal, happy Kim Soo Hyun got nominated, but this drama winning best drama is a tad bit too much.5) Elaborating on the writing, it was excellent till I think episode 8 but after that it started falling off (Still better than most of the Kdramas but not what you except from such a hyped up Kdrama. Overhyped I must say). But at points it will make your cry and laugh (mostly cry if the plot does not infuriate you). Basically the ending is rushed, I know I will get hate for this take, but the ending was rushed, they could have either taken out some unnecessary plotpoints or extended the drama a bit more, but still if anyone says this drama is dog shit, just ignore them everyone has their own opinions, but their opinions are dog shit in itself.6) Well if you are into slow burn, melodramatic, emotional, non realistic, slight comedy, conglomerate Kdrama, then this is for you.7) Aunt Beom Ja is the best, she deserves the world.
is this bad for me, if I will say that I want this one to surpass QOT ratings (not in MDL)? cause I really do…
I think it's not possible as it has monday-tuesday timeslot whereas Qot had Saturday-sunday timeslot. But I hope for a miracle because this show deserves it
Not gonna lie, the ending sequence and all was filmed so beautifully. The cinematography was absolutely stunning. And I loved that Queen of *Tears* ended with everyone including the antagonists smiles.
Honestly by this time I am more interested in Aunt Beom Ja's storyline than the main one. The only character who has not been spoilt by the writing in my opinion is Aunt Beom Ja. She has consistently been funny, emotional and dramatic. She deserves a happy ending.
I think that was covered up by Eun Seong's mother.
Well, if you think about it the entire storyline was not possible. There is nothing real about this drama, so we just justify these action by making up a reason. lol

Beak Hyun Woo: Nah, I'd win
