I would describe her more stoic, not detached. 'Still waters run deep' as they say.
I'm guessing this probably comes out more in the book.

Just finished this, it was pretty good overall, but definitely very slow for the first 25-ish episodes. Is Zhou Fei a very detached character in the book? I feel like the main romance portion could have been played up a bit more here and there, but not sure if that's a book thing as well. Anyone know?

It goes a bit off the rails at the end it seems. Probably better if you didn't finish it.

There is a drama from this year that I like: "Novoland Castle in the sky 2 (season 2).
Do you need to watch the first few? I notice there's a million Novolands. Is this the one with Yang Mi?

Title Love and Redemption
This was a surprisingly good and well-paced show for 59 episodes, I'm used to there being draggy bits on these longer ones. The BTS stuff is crazy awesome too considering how often the actors had to just gesture wildly while flying around in the air. They definitely deserve a lot of praise for having to do all that. Anyone know any other upcoming xianxia shows I should keep an eye out for?
