haha i knew my brain is going crazy, my theories almost didnt make sense to me too, which is why i decided to share them to see what everyone are thinking
2. I didnt consider Sa-eon's parent being involved in this kidnapping, it would make sense for them to be invovled if he is the kidnapper,
3. my 3rd theory is somewhat under developed but i thought maybe the FL's friend is her brother (the one who died in the car accident, the same car accident that made the other girl deaf) maybe he didnt die, lost his memory somehow ended up in the orphage where he befriended the REAL sa-eon, and he is on a mission to find his friends. And maybe the one who is ordering the kidnapper is someone we are not expecting yet,

Okay, after episode 6, I have 3 theories for WhenThePhoneRings - 1. The Sang U we know and the assistant are twins. ( I’m so confident on this one)
2. The kidnapper is the real Sa Eon (the psychopath). The Sang U we know is the missing twin, & the assistant is the other twin. The dreams he’s having could be twin telepathy stuff, and maybe it’s his brother’s reality. Or maybe it is him and he is being drowned cause he saw the kids getting killed by the psycho. The man who tried to drown him could be the grandfather to hid his grandson’s crimes. Now, the psychopath has brainwashed "the other twin" (aka the assistant), & they’re working together 2 take revenge on the family.
Or,
3. The friend could be Sang U’s real brother, the one who was supposed 2 "die" but lost his memory in the accident and ended up in the orphanage. the psychopath is working with someone we haven’t met yet.
It had to watch the ending and read all the reviews to understand that the husband is the twin.
Now my questions are: If her husband went to his twin's funeral and now the twin is pretending to be the husband where is the husband? are they both alive - what if he didn't die? what if the real husband died instead? - we saw him recording himself and the ml, which means he would probably use it as blackmail. - what if it it is her husband's plan from the get go? he knows she has BP, he was the one that told her father to look for insurance, her mom's died everything. and he is doing all that to take what she has (her money, fame everything) and the easiest way to do that is by showing everyone that she isnt mentally stable and lock her up somewhere. Which is easy all he had to do is confuse her to the point that she stops taking her pills - at the end of ep 4, it looked that the friend knew she isnt dating the twin but the husband. - What if someone replaces her pills or already did just like her the video was edited.
and lastly, - is she going to kill her husband with pesticides like her dad did? just so she doesn't end up being bad mother.
I swear the amount of stress and anxiety this drama is giving me was not needed. wasn't expecting to play detective here.
