This Mi Ran redemption arc is just weak. Even her attempt was in itself an act of everything she claims she was blinded by so it didn't elicit any empathy for her. All I could hear when she was on screen was the faint sound of a tiny violin being played by an ant somewhere. Jae In claiming that Mi Ran learned her wrongs etc. is nonsense. If anything, she is just furious that she got played by Gi Chan and Se Ri.

The writers presented her character in such a way that making a turnaround is just too much. It was way too abrupt (personality) with Yu Gyeong but more acceptable.

Why is Jae In's mother not in the 24/7 care of a professional???

True, you may actually be right. I thought the assistant as I can't recall that we found out for sure who it was. Jae In admitted to Se Ri that she revealed some stuff to Go Chan but denied to being behind that videos so Idk.

I leaned toward this guy bc I remembered the investors event they had where that video was played and thinking back, the assistant would have access to set all that up whereas Jae In/Emoji Face dad probs did not at that time.

I think he may keep her even then bc you know she'll be the one who uncovers his mother's fire crime then holds it over them. I think he'll be done with her when he realizes that she got with him just to take everything from Jae In.

She lies and does all sorts of evil stuff and falls back on "bc I love you" and he buys it and it's possible she would say the same about Ji Ho. He could fall for it if he still needs her. He's just so full of himself that he believes someone would go to the end of the world for him. But when it dawns on him that all that "bc I love you" was really "bc I have to win"...I don't think his ego can handle that. At least that's my perspective based on how conceited he is.
