I don't dispute her looks or that she has some humanity in her. But, as a person, Mi Ran is motivated by selfishness, shifts blame instead of taking accountability and is repeatedly a hypocrite of the highest order.
She may act a certain way with Patrick but she is who she is. If he didn't exist, would she not still be "robot" (not nice) Mi Ran? If yes, then objectively, Mi Ran is def not a decent person...just with Patrick (sometimes).

It's absurd. I said this elsewhere but they need to distinguish between inherently bad people who do bad things (no redemption) and good or decent people who have done bad things. Mi Ran and Jae In' mother, just like Se Ri and Gi Chan, are bad people.
