At this point they should just ditch the romance; it's not working or needed in a story like this.FL is just used…
Can't understand this "should" or "should not" for romance. It is what it is. The story developed just as how the writers wanted. Romance or not, it's their decision and their decision only. It is such a small part in this drama anyways, and doesn't affect one way or the other.
Seems like I am the odd one out. It is definitely a good drama, and I enjoyed watching it. The performance was great. But was it a "masterpiece"? To be honest, the plots are very typical sageuk. There is nothing which hasn't been done like a thousand times, there is nothing ground breaking. At least, I enjoyed this one much more than the Red Sleeve, another one that many raves about - I fell asleep watching that. The ending was also a bit flat. Was expecting a rousing climax which never came. The villains were dealt with ease in the end. Maybe just because I have watched far too many sageuk that it is hard to impress me. A solid 8.5 for me, but not quite a masterpiece, nor is it the best drama of the year.
Some people might argue that Do jun is only able to win in the financial/ investment market because he has lived…
You are thinking too hard. Those events described are major major events that probably every Korean would remember for the rest of their lives - IMF, high tech bubbles, 911 .... And areas destined to be prosperous should also be well known to every Korean as well. I think most here can name at least 10 stocks which would have exponential growth over the years. It's not that hard. Obviously he is smart and may make even more money, and he needs to manipulate others to get SoonYang. But almost everyone can make multiple millions if we are allowed to go back in time.
Can't believe Hae-an killed ML's brother. I thought he didn't save him, but what may have happened after that?…
I don't think DJ can get any info from the dead as he is trying to protect his brother. It's going to take another few episodes for the truth to be reviewed. The only thing DJ could be certain was that the dead was not responsible for the fatal accident.
Guys I appreciate people who read the novel giving spoilers to people who *specifically* asked to be spoiled so…
You know this is common in MDL. No matter how many times you ask people to use the tag. You WILL see spoiler when you read comments. Don't want spoiler? Then don't read comments before you watch the episodes!
Were the subs out of sync for anyone else on Prime Video ðŸ˜ðŸ˜
I think it is now corrected. It seems they rushed out the first version, with only English sub available, and no 4k. They now have 4k version and all the other language subtitles available.
Even though I enjoy watching DJ and TH as a couple, I can't help but feeling that TH has absolutely no good reason to dump his ex-girlfriend. It was an accident. Whether carrying the ring or not is irrelevant, and I can't see why he would stop loving his ex-girlfriend because of this. I just feel that TH was cruel and ruthless towards his ex-girlfriend, especially now he has found new love.
I also cannot feel any sympathy when characters just chose to feel guilty when it was not warranted. If they made a mistake, or had an error in judgement or whatever, then I can understand. But blaming himself for what was simply a traffic accident (especially when someone ran across the road in a rainy night without checking traffic)? I had the same feeling for Hometown Cha Cha Cha's ML - again feeling guilty for years when it was totally not his fault. It's frustrating for me to watch.
Whoever advised Netflix to gamble with millions $ to create mediocre, boring, unprofitable original content and…
What are you talking about? Whether you like you or not or you find it boring/mediocre or not, Squid Game and All of us are Dead were major blockbusters for Netflix, and brought in a lot of profit and viewers. Even distribution "originals" like Extraordinary Attorney Woo" was also a major hit worldwide.
If it gets released in Netflix outside Korea, it won't be exclusives anyways as international rights have already been sold.
Whole lots of ranting for a character who only have a few minutes of air time???Her character is not in the picture…
Did I ask you not to post??? Sure, you rant all you want. And I can post my opinion too, can't I? As you said, you can totally ignore my reply to you too, can you not?
Episode 6:Seriously why did they decide to make the FL character that way?! The ML is supposed to be smart, sly,…

i was wondering why the FL appeared so little and it seems I have my answer: https://kbizoom.com/after-the-love-line-was-criticized-reborn-rich-responded-by-increasing-lee-sung-mins-screentime/which…
These types of articles have no basis. And impossible too for a pre-produced drama. Complete waste of time reading it.
So it may not mean anything.
It is what it is.
The story developed just as how the writers wanted. Romance or not, it's their decision and their decision only.

So people are loving this "mess".

Then the last two episodes on Dec 24 and 25.
They can't even if they want to.

BTW, you are wrong.

Shipping for SFL is a complete waste of time and emotion, as it never happens in kdrama.
Complete waste of time reading it.
