honestly i am loving this series up till now, cause this something new, very new from all the k-dramas i've seen, it's like a mixture of a few things but NEW. very curious about the next episodes and what type of ending the writers have for us.
one thing i wanna do is CLEAN GWIJOO's ROOM MYSELF!!!!! if i was able to, cause i'm the type of person who can't stand that type of room filled with garbage and living in darkness, i get it he has depression but god the OCD in me is killing me every time i see the scenes of his roo🤣🤣m, like DUDE!!! collect the bottles, clean the dust and let sunlight in, START LIVING WITH A POSITIVE MINDSET AGAIN.
I don't have the courage? guts? positive mindset? to start the second season. cause the way they ended the 1st season, the last episode... they broke my heart, it makes me so angry, honestly, COMPLETELY HONESTLY I started watching this just for the couple, main leads after reading the introduction para, thinking it will be fun. I knew it had politics, obviously knowing that since it's DAMN HISTORICAL DRAMA but I still gave it a shot. liked it but still my heart has been broken, and I have a feeling that 2nd season is not gonna mend it but break it down further. DO TELL ME AT LEAST THEY GIVE ME SOMETHING GOOD (b/w mls) TO SATISFY MY HUNGER and fullfill my greed.
okay imma be true, the series is good, it has story, casting is also nice, their acting just the right amount. the story is not disconnected or has loosed ends. i think there is going to be season 2 or they are just gonna leave us hanging after that 15 second ending scene.....
basically it had the potential to have 6 more episodes from my pov, if not 6 AT LEAST 2. cause writer were like- let's just stop here and let there be a fuckin open ending... ngl i am kinda sick of open ending for thriller series... if writers wanna give an open ending they should give those in romance ones, cause i'm sick of all the same cliche romance scenes, storylines and obvious endings.
OH AND THE FUCKIN CHEMISTRY BETWEEN THE MAIN LEADS... IT'S ALWAYS THE NON-ROMANTIC ONES WHERE WE GET THE BEST COUPLES ??? should i say, hell they not even looking at e/o romantically, but i'd like to imagine things differently.

just watch it, i can't really put a number on when they are "officially together as a bf -gf", it's not their thing... it just them being them, just loving e/o, being there for e/o in times of needs, when the world is too cruel for them they are always for e/o, but that doesn't mean it's always flowers and sunshine in their relationship, they fight, misunderstand but don't leave it hanging for long at all, they talk it out, give & take time for e/o. honestly, what i am writing can't even be an explanation of what they have, what they have is weirdly beautiful should i say??!!

we all knew he wasn't gonna leave her or break their engagement, he was just angry that she wasn't open/honest with him about her leaving for her opportunities, it's not like was gonna go against her dream. and don't defend her saying she really missed the timing every time she wanted to talk about it with him, cause as a human being too knows, that when you want to talk about smth seriously, and it's imp, that it involves another persons pov's & conversation I NEED TO GET IT OUT OF MY SYSTEM AND GET DONE WITH IT, I need to say it out loud no matter what, cause if don't today it will bring no joy just distraught the other day, then again it's just me. that how i am, i can't expect everyone to be like me but still have some consciousness girllllll {ZJ} ???!!!
CMD is the dream guy man, so mature so reasonable and the list goes on.. i respect the author who wrote his character and i respect and praise Li Xian for his acting. ZJ you are worth the trouble for, your are worth fighting for, you are a good person, no one can be perfect, everyone has flaws, i understand you have your own values, your own commitments i respect that. lastly, i'd like to say..in a relationship one of the two needs to be more understanding, more mature, more forgiving and more loving... and it was CMD for this one, our girl ZJ here in return gives him pain but loves him x100000 times more it seems... that's why they work uk, it's somehow balanced... wait...they MADE it WORK!!!

i have never cried (in ep 15btw) while watching a C-DRAMA, but ZJ made me cry, it was because of the situation she put him in after... dude i don't even wanna talk about it!!!!! near 22:20 mins smth, i didn't wanna hit the play button man! cause i knew that what was gonna happen next, knew that she was gonna blame him, leave him, hurt him F.U.C.K.I.N.G. A.G.A.I.N. That make out session was just out of anger, angst, guilt and whatnot?? just because of the convo she had with her mother, it made me so angry when she said " why are you forcing me???!!!!!!!" if i could i would go inside my screen and slap right on cheeks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! AND YOU KNOW THE MOST FUCKED UP THING ABOUT THEM AND ME(MYSELF) is that when they cleared up the misunderstanding {only because our CMD is the most green flag and understanding man EVER!!!} is that i was actually smiling.. as in happy for them all of sudden..uk like getting butterflies because of their chemistry should i say??? the script writers(novel writer) really worked hard for their salaries, meaning worth their minds and money to put the audience through rollercoaster of emotions throughout THE WHOLE SHOW, EPIODE, EACH 5 MINUTES!!! but i wanna say one thing, whenever they have troubles outside of their relationship, they calm, soothe and understand e/o so much. like in 14th ep near @18:00 he looked so peaceful in her arms, their soft convos pull my heartstrings!!
This is "one of the most bittersweet feelings has to be when you realize how much you are going to miss a moment while you are still living it" type of thing/drama.
I bet the next 4 episodes are going to be so heartbreaking, did you guys see the preview for 15&16th ep... he was day drinking dude!!!! and that "sleeping" misunderstanding, her fainting on the road after their heated conversation on new years, her mother's in pain too, all pain and grief is rushing out now together, ep 7 is nothing in front of this... CMD is the real deal man!!! he is so understanding and transparent, and in a good way.... there is so much to talk about, those 40 mins are packed and lines so well, each scene with diff sides and story to look at...
