I SO agree about Cyrano Dating Agency. The chemistry just isn't there. I wish they could pair up Sooyoung with a more suitable male lead. And also agree about Yoona.

There are a couple of great idol actresses though. Eunji has proven in both Reply 1997 and That Winter The Wind Blows, that she is a brilliant actress. And so is Eunjung. Suzy,Sooyoung, Jiyeon, Yoona, IU and UEE are quite good too. And Yuri's drama didn't really do her any justice. I expect her to be MUCH better in No Breathing. Of course there are some idols that can't act to save their lives, but you can't just simply dismiss them all just because they are idols.

Both Twilight and BOF are horrible tbh. I can't even decide which is worse.
Edward and Jacob were major douchebags and Jun Pyo was a bully (yet people seem to forget that. the fandom and the characters of the show as well).
Bella and Jan Di were equally annoying too.
But at least Twilight had better cinematography while everything on BOF was horrible, including the horrendous outifts (people always seem to bash Meteor Garden for their outdated clothes but at least they were normal for the time the show was airing. The wardrobe in BOF though,a 2009 show was plain and simple cringe worthy)
All in all, there's almost nothing to redeem these two from their awfulness. (Well Twilight has a great cast but that's just about it and BOF had Lee Min Jung).
I just watched the first two episodes and I'm already addicted omg

The double standards I witnessed in this forum regarding female characters/actresses is really disheartening tbh.
It annoys and saddens me to no end the fact that people are always quick to forgive their favorite male characters for the shit they've done (or even worse ignore them completely) but when a female character does something remotely controversial they call her names and hate her till the end.
Glad to see that someone agrees with me.
I thought Big was pretty great actually. I don't get the hate at all. And the cast was amazing as well. I mean…
You should definitely give it a try. Just watch it with an open mind and don't let all the bad reviews influence you. It's all a matter of taste at the end of the day. Like My Girl has mostly great reviews but I could hardly give it a 4. So yeah, Big was really good imo. Good plot + Eye Candy = WIN in my books.

Out of these I've only watched Nice Guy. The story was conventional but I will forever love this show for two reasons. 1) for introducing me to Park Si Yeon 2) for creating one of my favorite Kdrama characters aka Han Jae Hee. Plus the cinematography of this show was exceptional. Other than that, I couldn't care less about the other characters or their stories tbh. Maru x Eun Gi has to be one of the most cringeworthy couple of all time imo.
