You HAVE to watch Love and Bid Farewell. There's a turn around episode 12 where the male lead goes full yandere and it's brutal lol. He'd do anything to have her with him, he'd kill for her, he'd die for her, etc.

Meng is definitely shady, but after the party in episodes 16/17 I'm really liking his character. You gotta respect someone who can stir up that much drama in one night.

He did say before they went that he got his parent's permission for the trip, presumably they knew who he was going with.

Really wouldn't mind a spinoff about Bao Ling and Rou Shen making a comeback and also getting together bc I need them to have an actual ending.

Lee Jae Shin and Lee Jae Woon's relationship is so funny to me. LJS is like "I owe this chaebol family, so now I am forced to do whatever they order", and LJW is like "This is my friend LJS, I give him money when he needs it because I'm his friend and he helps me out when I need it because he's my friend."

Chen Yun Ru is a big part of the drama, and her feelings and emotions are central to the plot, though it may not seem like it until later episodes. I would also say her story has a satisfying ending.

Not a tragedy, just bittersweet and open-ended. I'd argue things are a whole lot happier at the end than they were at the beginning, especially with the epilogue that was filmed.
