The script has been going downhill for the past 3-4 episodes. It's just too messy and they had to throw in the fiancé and truck-kun too. Just why? I don't know how the manhwa is but this is just disappointing. Why suddenly throw so many things at once? Not even good scenarios either... Guess webtoon adaptations aren't meant to be then.
Dull drama with so many fillers. The schedule is also not helping.
Yeah, I keep watching the new episodes whenever people go crazy about it and then I'm just like "what was the fuss about?". Guess it's just not for me.
Tried to give this a chance but now I'll just drop it. Definitely won't miss out. Not a fan of grown adults acting as childish as the female lead, the humour is not funny, no chemistry between the leads, cringy unnecessary scenes, (colorful silly CGI or whatever that is), her mom wants her to be hidden despite the fact that she has an overwhelming power that everyone and their mom have already seen. The acting of a lot of characters is weird and overall just cheesy boring drama. Disappointing to say the least.
Melodramas are generally not loved in this website you know. It's overall a decent drama to watch.
Really? I thought people liked melodramas here. Mr. Sunshine and Just Between Lovers seem to be rated high. But then again you said generally so I guess these are exceptions.
What happened to the writing in kdramas, where did all the best writers go? The ones who could craft addictive…
We actually had some amazing dramas in the past few years. This year too, I'd say. For instance, Moving is one of them. But I do agree that some of them are either too good or too bad and nothing in-between really.... And maybe the bad ones outnumber the good ones as well. Unfortunate. This looked exciting. Should I not watch it then?
How many korean people do you know? y'all just cant accept that there are people who enjoy his acting and watching…
Haha, calm it down would you? It's silly how people like you always jump to say that people who "criticize" your favourite actors is jealous. Find a new argument because this is funny at this point. His acting is bland and that IS true. I know of his other dramas like "island" as well, and still stand by my original statement. Hell, even Yoona and Suho act better than Eun Woo 😂 But just like Yoona was complimented on improving a bit so can Eun Woo. Saying someone's acting needs improvement isn't bad, that's how life is and that's how everyone starts. But I personally think it's a waste to be doing main roles when you still need a lot of work done. Also, I didn't mention the drama on Netflix, I mentioned the viewership ratings, which by the way, aren't just affected by the "1 episode a week" situation. At the end of the day, you and people alike should accept that Eun Woo needs improvement and there's nothing wrong with that. Doesn't mean it's hate, doesn't mean it's jealousy. I would assume most of us are grown here so let's be more logical. Most idol actors are bland or need improvement. Some of them improved like Suzy for example. But if you want to keep playing pretend that he's fine the way he is, he won't get anywhere. Anyway, that's all I have to say, and won't be replying anymore. You can keep calling me jealous if that's what you want I guess 🤷♀️
How many korean people do you know? y'all just cant accept that there are people who enjoy his acting and watching…
He's breathing just fine. "How many Koreans do you know?" Well, just like there're English websites like these there're Korean ones. I'm talking about seeing a post with 400+ comments that said the exact thing I said. I don't hate Eun Woo as I already mentioned he's a nice person. So I'm not upset about him getting "love". The mentality you guys have of being overly defensive is..... Interesting to say the least. I was surprised at how different the opinions were here compared to a another website. Since it seemed like this one was far right while the other one was far left. It was more of an "oh, that's interesting" surprise, not "oh my god, they have a different opinion than me((" Obviously different people have different opinions and because of that I'm not "moving aside". Or should you then, by your own logic move aside too since you can't accept that your opinion isn't a reality for everyone either? t's not that serious you know? This is just a website where people share different opinions of a kdrama. Nobody is attacking here.
I feel criticism on his acting has been blew out of proportion & ppl easy to jump on the hate bandwagon just because…
I think it's silly to say that people criticizing someone's acting wouldn't do "better" if they were in their shoes. You don't have to be a chef to criticize food. And just because somebody expressed their opinion or even critique regarding an actor you like doesn't mean they're salty. People can think that Cha Eun Woo is nice and still agree that he needs a lot of improvement. Any actor in general wants to improve, and pretending that doesn't matter is not going to get them anywhere. And I disagree that an actor should always play roles that the fans want. Besides, I can see that people aren't very interested in this drama either. Considering how the viewership ratings dropped to 1.9. It's very important for an actor to try various roles and different experiences. It widens their perspective and performance as well, which is one the things that matter to any actor, especially ones that are supposed play a main role. Also, I don't see how Eun Woo is much different than how he was in Gangnam Beauty, so I hope he tries a different role one day and sees how it goes.
Honestly, the drama isn't really interesting. Cha Eun Woo as a person is nice but he always takes the same exact roles, thus there's no room for improvement. And even though such a simple role with an expressionless face doesn't require much, he still can't do it right. His monotonous voice is the same, the way he mimics words, and when he does any sort of emotions it's just basically wide eyes for surprise, slightly move the corner of the mouth for smile and etc. I feel like there're many actually good underrated actors that deserve a main role but Eun Woo is just taken for his pretty face, since in every role all the characters drool over him. They only take him for these poker face roles, so I guess they know his acting isn't the best. I've seen a lot of Koreans agree on this, so I'm surprised everyone likes it here...
Yeah, a lot of fans me included have been doing this for 4 days straight. I myself wrote around 200 comments on…
Yeah, that was a very tough week, lol. But the hate has finally died down. No hate comments on Junho's twitter anymore, and on his insta he used to get 1000 hate comments in a day but now there's barely any. Same for Yoona and JTBC. Their brands are also fine but Miumiu is still getting some of those comments. The hotel also deleted all of the bad reviews and went from a 2 out of 5 to 4.4. The only one who's still affected is the Indian actor but the comments are also less frequent. They used to spam every second but now it's every 10 minutes at least.
Yeah, he even said that the fans told him to not lose weight after his military service but he said that if they saw his double chin they would have screamed for him to lose weight 😂
