it's been one of my favourite ongoings since ep 7! and since i started watching it mainly because Aou was in the cast i'm really glad he is getting a boyfriend 🥰
i didn't want to watch it at first but i liked episode one! Oriyama Nao's acting feels natural and his character is likeable. also some lines were (somehow) funny, like when Amagi's friend told about how he was almost late because he couldn't stop watching penguins laying their eggs (??) idk but it cracked me up a little bit.. i liked dialogues between friends in general😄
reasons why ep 7 is my favourite episode so far: 1. MekKim being all lovey-dovey and holding hands 2. LeePark talking things out 3. a little piece of gl 4. Bomb and Lee teasing Kim 5. Mek's 'i don't know, i don't know, i don't know' when Kim was scolding him for his messy room (because..mood) 6. Mek and Bear made up 7. 'my life was dull without your annoying voice' and 'i miss your ugly face' lol 8. Park smiling and taking pictures of them 😌 9. BearBomb hugging at Taco Bell 10. Tim and Mek running scene
i have mixed feelings about this series. i liked the first two eps a lot and then i liked it less and less (except for some moments, like Kim/Chay moments, some 'actual mafia' moments and VegasPete ones in recent episodes because they aren't boring at least and i must admit those scenes look beautiful and BibleBuild acting is good). but... i saw a "how am i supposed to watch another bl series after KinnPorsche ends it raised the bar so high" opinion a lot and personally (!) i find it a little bit strange.. i know a lot of people are referring to acting, camerawork scenery etc (though i still think Bad Buddy, You're my sky, Not Me and Blueming were a lot better in some - and, sometimes, maybe all - aspects) but some are referring to kiss or sex scenes?? or a fact that the setting isn't a uni and the characters aren't engineering students (what is even wrong with it, if the plot and characters are interesting a show doesn't necessarily have to have some unique setting or theme). i personally find all KinnPorsche scenes since ep 3 boring. Kinn doesn't feel like a Mafia son at (a lot of ) times lol, there were a lot of moments with them i found rather stupid. there were probably two episodes (when KinnPorsche had a 'normal' date and the one about Porsche finding out about Tawan and being scared about the fact a 'deadman' haunts him for a whole ep) that felt dragged, with a lot of unnecessary moments, not-so-funny 'jokes' and 'funny moments'. bodyguards act childish a lot (some people are like "well one of the genres is comedy soo🙄" i expected something more after the trailer. and ofc my expectations is my problem but still). there are just a few action scenes and i don't really like how of them are shot.. and in overall the pace of the series are a lot more slow than i expected. again, it's all just my opinion; and there comes my second big problem with this show: from what i've seen in the comments (not here, on other sites, so not sure how things are here) people tend to...'dislike' other people's rather negative oponions about kp. someone says "I don't like KinnPorsche" and there are millions of replies "but why how can you not like such a masterpiece" or something. one person commented their thoughts on one of the eps about all the cons and how they didn't like certain action or other scenes and why, and again there were a lot of replies arguing with them and proving why KP is the best BL of all time. and it's every time! 😅
this may sound strange but... i liked how all the characters cried and in general depicted their emotions when Tin died. in a lot of Thai series, when it's a crying scene actors seem more like they're grimacing not crying. in ep 10 even supporting actors did a great job during Tin's death scene and a goodbye scene. (but my favourites were Tol and Sing because they felt the most real!)
alongside with Triage, this is probably my favourite ongoing bl series currently! i like all the couples and their chemistry (except maybe for Tim and his manager) but I would consider BearBomb the most favourite? I think that's probably because I like Yut since I am your King 2, and his and Bear's actor characters are very likeable, and i also like their storyline😸
