they're both the homewreckers since both of them knew he was married and both of them knew what they were doing and that what they were doing is wrong. i'm sick of the fake "feminist" notion that a woman shouldn't be held accountable for her actions when she knows what she's doing, she knows what she's doing is wrong, and she still chooses to do it (ESPECIALLY without remorse). as a huge advocate for feminism, i will remind you of this: feminism is about EQUALITY. both SJ and YR should be getting hate for this. i agree, the fault isn't completely YR's. however that doesn't mean the hate she's getting is unjustified. i agree that SJ deserves more hate though, but saying that it's never the mistress's fault is wrong. in this case, it is her fault as well as she knew he was married but didn't care about that and sought out to end their marriage so they could be together. SJ alone didn't ruin the marriage; YR alone didn't ruin the marriage. as you stated, it takes two to tango, therefore both SJ and YR ruined the marriage and she is also as fault.
as for why everyone hates on YR more than SJ: for me personally, i don't like her personality. i hate SJ with all my guts and wish nothing more for him than to suffer the worst heartbreak, whether it be the torture of his loved ones or the downfall of his career and life in general, but one thing i noticed was that at least in the beginning he seemed to show genuine remorse. i honestly cannot say the same for YR when the whole time she's taken advantage of JS's kindness and still gone behind her back with SJ. not to mention, she acts like she deserves everything she has when a lot of it was given to her, and as someone who has experienced this type of unfairness due to personal connections/rigging, it pisses me off that she has no shame. however, those are simply reasons i dislike her character; the cheating is a whole different thing. regardless, both SJ and YR deserve immense hate, as you state, but it IS partially the mistress's fault in this instance since she a. had the intent b. had knowledge of the consequences of her actions on others and c. despite knowing that her actions hurt people, chose to continue seeing SJ anyways.
