ye prob, idk how they are going to pull off the insane VFX work and if the actor will match Jinwoo’s presence. I don’t have much trust in K-drama directors; they fuck up every manhwa adaptation, for example, Reborn Rich/Weak Hero. It’s all so different from the OG story in the manhwa.

Yeah, I don’t remember much either. I used to read it during COVID but eventually dropped it because the story started getting boring asl. They should adapt stuff like Viral Hit, Mercenary Enrollment, The Boxer, etc. but knowing how korean directors tend to operate, they’ll probably take the original material and rewrite half the script instead of actually following the source...then they’ll add unnecessary romance subplots, new characters, comic relief, and a bunch of other shit that completely misses the point of the original. I genuinely don’t understand why the industry doesn’t make more of an effort to target a global audience and explore different genres and niches..... It feels like they keep recycling the same stereotypical, female-targeted rom-com formula over and over again. There’s so much untapped potential, but ig they’re just not willing to take the risks
