yesterday I just remember this drama again. where is our season 3?

writer is the same most of the production team and mean leads too! how not to compare them? the scene Xiu Kai was talking to the chid actor (he is not a good actor) about his mother death just was the end game for me.

and god! the man audacity to suggesting marriage and having children when he was an absent father for like all his own child life!!!! this episode was a summary on how women suffer in marriage and how men take all these labour/toils women do for granted.

I am going to add my thoughts on Eom forecaster too: he is so so immature for his age! the man ate someone else food! and left the share area in a mess in night! he has claimed the share area for himself without being considering toward others. he wasn't/isn't dressing properly in his own home and share place and dosent seem to care about his appearance and was he peeing in hand wash basins on that scene when his daughter open the toilet door??? I never even thought someone could do such a thing!
anyway he is annoying and immature.
my thoughts on the wife behavior is the same as I wrote before. try to educate your man and demand him to have proper manner and if he dosen't change divorce and have a life instead of behaving bitterly all the time!

Wu Jin Yan's acting has been the worst I ever seen from her since the beginning but in ep 26-27 I noticed how far from his previous works has became Xiu Kai's acting too!
what is happening there? the writer's work and complexity of the story is inferior compare to Yanxi palace and all the actors are worse in acting...

that Eom forecaster's wife!!! I understand the man is annoying but she could have divorced him a decade ago and made a life for herself! she lives in the apartment he paid for and get money each month from him! you can not stand in the middle woman, divorce or try to save the marriage it is ridiculous that he doest not have a place to stay when he has a home.

until ep 15 note: this emperor dose't have any problem with skinship. this man is a womanizer in disguise

I love love love the costumes and set design in this drama. the chemistry is somehow laking for me and I am in ep 23 now but Xiu Kai is so damn handsome in those dresses and I love the color palette. I am watching for the aesthetic aspects and I am not bored of it yet BUT it could be the best ever costume drama if the writer was doing her job correctly! no tension at all?!

and we waited half of the series to get an explanation! their chemistry is laking here I don't buy her "I love crown prince" and crown prince until now is more interested to her different behavior compare to other women than really be in love with her

story doesn't make sense in many scenes. who edit this? did they cut some part of the story? anyway in episode 4 and a kitchen maid freely back and forth to king's grandson room!!! how this makes sense?

rewatching this for first time after 2016 and wow! the ML is strange really. his behavior could be categorized as sexual harassment and here they romantacize it as love. maybe it is now that I have read about Yoo Yeon Seok and his unhealthy ideas about female in general I see this more clear... he is in my "really should be a good drama to watch if he is in it" list now

they have shot this 30 episode drama like a movie. it is art and here in the middle of the drama I am so shocked by Wallace Chung acting! was he always this good? his scenes with FL are sometimes too sensational for a weak heart.
