when I am watching dramas or read books I always remind myself that these are stories about what's happening in a short period of time in a long life. and it's true with all the modern stories and old fairy tales. seriously we don't know what happened for Cinderella or Rapunzel after the happy ending! but even with what we know their lives were everyday struggle for years before that short period of pinky pinky love. I always remind myself that those happy couples in the end of "finding Mr Darcy" or "something in the rain" probably are already divorced or sleeping in the opposite end of the bed. we just have a glimpse to their journey then remind yourself of truth. some stories could help you here because they focus on that frightening moment that the life that a once happy couple made together crumples. "world of married" is a good example. love will come to you when you are lonely and your love life is no existing, stay for a while (could long for decades but still it's a while) and eventually it will change! sometimes to hate, sometimes to friendship and sometimes to a bitter cohabitation but it will change and it must! as our world is made on one basic rule: changing.
I watched the first 4 episode when it was airing and dropped it. mother was crazy like really needed to be arrested for abuse and the way he fell for her and how she fell for him... hum I didn't buy it at that time. but after 2 and half years I backed and picked it up from were I left and wow! if you pass the first few episodes the rest of story is very realistic and acceptable. acting is top notch tough the mother should be arrested for child abuse yet. It was slow and frustration to watch and seriously you need some depression reliever to bare the last 3-4 episodes. I am looking forward to see this director/ writer's next project and for Jung HaeIn, I didn't liked APOYM and I hope his next project is more interesting.
realizing that during all love and family mess JinAh was going trough the revelation of a 10 years sexual harassment in her workplace really breaking my heart for her.
finished it two days ago and not over it yet. never get the hype for Kim Soo Hyun though I loved him in came from another star yet he never was in my list of actors to go to. he's amazing here. his acting is so on point that I am left speechless now
her death was so pard to bear that I refuse to read anything online for few days. loved her so much and I am so sad that she should have been trough lots of pain without showing that to us who loved her. she always showed a bright smile how much I wish she would have share a bit of that burden and asked for help
Wi HaJoon smile is crazily beautiful... I am in love with him! do we have more drama from him? he need to be the main role. he stealing the show every time he's on the screen
I give it 8.5 because DingDing story line was lame and I fast forwarded her part all the way through the drama but the rest of the drama is amazing and I enjoyed it to the full. very recommended
interesting read. I completely agree with your points here. I have learned a lot from dramas and tv shows from different countries pick up some new words and understand the cultural concepts better. best hope to read more article from you
