I'm so glad to see someone who's completely new to the "Chihayafuru" story enjoy this movie so much!! :D I love these movies A LOT, they're some of my all time favourites but I did watch most of the anime and read the manga before (and loved them!), so I thought I must be super biased and my nostalgia is taking over the rational part of my brain. To be honest, it still is probably somewhat true, but now I can see that my opinion does have some merit after all!! :D

By the way, this movie is a part of trilogy, along with "Chihayafuru: Shimo no Ku" and "Chihayafuru: Musubi", so I recommend watching those two as well! <3
