that "it's a fictional character" excuse is dumb as hell. the show isn't even out yet, we don't know what this character is like, this is literally just a human being. so if you're stating that wishing death on a character is alright simply because they're transgender, own it. state it with your full chest and don't hide behind that weak excuse, thank you.
and you also mentioned LGBTQ supporters "luring" people with differing opinions just to call them homophobes... well, hate to break it to you, if you hate/are uncomfortable with the existence of queer people in media or real life, you are by definition a homophobe. again, own it. there's some silly logic at the start of your second paragraph talking about "glorification" 🙄.
people shouldn't talk when they see something they like? no one talked about those other characters because those dynamics, while not being very common, are still more commonly depicted than transgender people (and people are infinitely more offended when queer people dare to exist). that plot twist ruined it for me. the pacing was horrible but I could deal with that, but using underrepresented demographic for shock value just screams bad writing (as if further proof was needed)
