honestly, as a straight man myself, I personally have friends which I am very close and can relate on being very close to someone from the same sex and, at the same time, not being attracted at all. if being close to another male and hugging him, sleeping in the same bedroom, etc, it's considered "queerbaiting", then a lot of men are doing that without realizing lol.
