The drama was quite interesting. It explored various themes related to family dynamics, although I couldn't personally relate much due to the cultural differences. Nevertheless, I found it interesting. There were some adorable romantic moments, well-executed character development, and I enjoyed witnessing the growth and transformation of the main characters, especially when it unfolded gradually over multiple episodes.
One recurring aspect throughout the series was the theme of "self-sacrifice for the sake of others, with the belief of knowing what's best for them." If this type of plot doesn't appeal to you, then it's apparent that this drama might not be your cup of tea.
It was perfectly long for what the show is. A lot of silly moments, funny characters, many ridiculous situations and toilet jokes that I dont really understand . The best thing in my opinion is how ruthless the main villain characters were in executing their plan, almost breaking the silly flow of the show.
If they release a second season I dont think that I will watch it tho.
Love to Hate You is a must-watch for fans of romantic comedies and action-packed dramas. The show delivers a perfect mix of positive energy, funny moments, and cool action scenes that will keep you hooked from start to finish.
One of the highlights of the show is its likable characters. The lead actors and actresses are not only beautiful, but they also have great chemistry on-screen. Their interactions will surely make you root for them, even when they are at odds with each other.
The pacing of the drama is fast and dynamic, but not overwhelming. The show's ability to keep the audience engaged without making them feel rushed is commendable. Moreover, the show has a lot of positive vibes that can uplift your mood and make you feel happy.
Another aspect that stands out in Love to Hate You is its OST. Each episode has a different OST at the end, and they're all fantastic. The music complements the scenes well and adds another layer of enjoyment to the drama.
Overall, Love to Hate You is an enjoyable watch that will make you smile. Its combination of romance, comedy, and action makes for an entertaining and engaging drama that you won't want to miss.
For me at least, I guess I dont like school settings that much. The idea was really interesting, but this is a show that you could easely compress to half the episodes.
I wish the whole drama would have been like the last 20 minutes of the last episode, with more comedy and less of the political bs. The political part was very boring, smh everybody knew what was going on but did shit to reverse the situation... in the end plot armor did the deed. and whats with all this whispering, feels overplayed -.- The last 10 episodes I almost only listen to the audio without watching and it was completely fine. With the cast this could have been such a good comedy drama, what a shame.
This was kind of good but also kind of not. Actually this was the first time I wished for the bad guy to win this and kill them all. In the end everybody who sacrificed themself, died for nothing.
The Romance part was also very lacking, only finisched this because I like the cast.
This was a good drama, for me at least. Every episode was interesting to watch and I like how smart the revenge was executed. The only thing I didnt like was how horrendous the age of the characters was represented, the present time characters should have been entirely different actors, at least the main characters that are 20 years older! If the ending from the novel gets changed this much then they could have done at least this much FFS! Disappointing. Anyway I can recommend this to anybody with similar stats tags to mine. Hope we get more of those rebirth revenge novel/manga adaptations but closer to the original works.
I dropped this halfway through. Can someone please spoil me the ending?
MAJOR SPOILER!!! basically Jin Do Jun gets to the point of time where he meets Yoon Hyun Woo and that is also the moment that Jin Do Jun dies by a truck hitting his car ( Do Jun was actually on his way to propose to Min Young ). Next scene is Yoon Hyun Woo wakes up in a turkish hospital, back to the orirginal timeline (20 years after Jin Do Jun's death), the shot somehow didint kill him and he was saved by Seo Min Young. That is when he suddenly realize that he was used to kill Jin Do Jun at that time. There is some pursuit and later a trial, that was originally about the inheritance, money washing, and some other business stuff, but Yoon Hyun Woo pulls out a recording of the phone call that proofs that Jin Do Jun was targeted and killed by his family and also his own innocence. In the last scene Hyun Woo and Min Young are strangers, but he tells her a sentence and we get a flashback with Do Jun and Min Young where he tells her the exact same sentence. Probably to show that him changing bodies was not a dream. END
Daaaaaaaaaamn this is sooo good hahah! From ep 3 (30) onwards (am at ep 7 (34) rn) my favourite character is Consort Yue Fei, the tone Xi Wen uses for her characters voice is just dropping everones pride to the ground like a hot potato. Had to rewatch parts of ep 30-31 just for her performance.
I wish I had the patience to w8 for this show to finish airing and then bingewatch it...The plot in the first…
Romance is on the level of: they both fall in love with each other but nobody wants to confess their love first, therefore break up, just to have some cringe happy end reunion in the end.
I wish I had the patience to w8 for this show to finish airing and then bingewatch it... The plot in the first half was very interesting, there was good character development and we have awesome leads. Second half we still have awesome leads but the story turns in to some kindergarten.
Nice and sweet plot, just skipped all the spy thing in the last 4 episodes (kind of obvious who the main bad guy is...) and it was the perfect length. Jung In Sun's smile carried this for me.
dropped halfway ep 9, its suuuuuuper slow. Also mc kind of wasted his and fl caracter lifes on the way he does revenge, have already the feeling like there wont be a good end.
