Good point, I have learned something new thank you Mrs Petrovic.
I think my point of view was a little extreme but still my personal opinion and it did not change. GGS was still interesting to watch in the background while doing other things :) .

"although the FL looked like she didnt wat to be there it was fun to watch" was what I commented on FIYS, I would say it was interesting because it was about a actual social problem (also slice of life and friendship). On the other hand you have Go Go Squid!... A angry ignorant kid (Gun) got mad about his friend (Solo) taking responsebility, then proceeded to throw a tantrum for 10 years and make him (Solo) think that he bestroyed everyones dream and bond of friendship, while the solution to this would have been to take over the commando until his friend (Solo) could return to the team. What triggered me the most was the really very poor presentation of the cyber securety competitions which in reallity are very engaging and require high hacking skills with a little feng shui magic. It is literally like you eat 5 apples and the teacher ask you what is the question if the answer is motorboat (just fun). But I would rate both FIYS and GGS! story with 6/10 max, no hype. It is just that GGS! disappointed me in multiple points while FIYS did not.

The Doctor told Fang Yan that she can cure her illnes by falling in love with somebody, Yan also tells this to her friend Zuo Yao. While working as maid for Shi Meng she realizes that she fell in love with him and then... ( I cant belive how stupid this actually is ) Yan & Yao actually ignore what the Doc said and insist on Shi Yi to heal Fang Yan... WTH???
The OST was nice, the characters were good too. I think somewhere in the first 4 episodes there was already a huge plothole that made the whole love triangle look stupid from the beginning (explanation why is in the spoiler)... The end was disappointing.
Excellent! I like dramas without bull***t plot armor and excessive "house of cards made of lies" usage. It was romantic and had a alright tension too keep my interest in every episode. Also tha redemption was sooo good, especially the FL character one ! Daaaaaaaamn, I was thinking " no way they would do it in a fluff kdrama.... " but damn! this moment was good.
it was okay, last three episodes were boring and the end was kind of meh... the story felt unfinished at many places . I liked the whole cast very much and the characters they were playing.

Also this is NOWHERE near the quality of You Are My Glory, Falling Into Your Smile, and Love Scenery, beside YAMG actually in a league of its own is. So dont expect Go Go Squid to be even close to one of the above.
- The camera work is kind of bad at times, I think they had only one camera to film multiple angles in one scene which was bad... - The kissing scenes... there was an attempt. - this is actually my first time watching a drama with romace tag where ML and FL gave more of a " they are good friends but confused about their feelings " vibes. Although the beginning of the story was bad, the tournaments were confusing and awfully presented ( why the f4gk is there even a Gaming tag on this?? it was more like Admin/Hacker competition ) , ML overdoing it with the grumpy cat look and almost everything important is set to the last ~15 episodes... it was not that bad. The story was fluff and easy to watch, kind of funny that the leads are 10 years apart in the story but only 1 year in rl haha and the ML characters growth from a rude ba****d to a decent guy was good presented. I recommend watching this if you need a break from a different drama and dont worry about skipping parts.
They should have made a *nlyfans account for this drama, with all the teasing going on there.
I would recomment to watch this if you didnt watch any romance dramas in a while (around 3 weeks). All characters are likable which made this relaxing to watch. Also the music got stuck in my head and I caught myself jamming to the catchy tune while showering.
I was really anticipating to see those two perform together, because you see it on the cover here but sadly this doesnt happen, so yeah... this was a big sadge for me...
How did the ML get this main role? He is more like an annoying side character, his acting makes me really confuzed. In comparison the FL lets you immerse into the play( fiction/story ) vs ML makes me feel watching some drama play from a highschool ... . Does his character and acting change to be more serious and mature? I am at ep6 .
Been on episode 30 for the past 3 weeks, why is that?
I can relate, I somehow didnt want to watch it to the end because every episode after ~24 felt like I already know how this is going to end and it would be just waste of my time but in the same time not smh... And even after finishing it I still feel like I didnt need to finish it but I also caugh myself just having a bright smile all over my face while watching the last three episodes. This CDrama is just such high quality ( without any usual plot twist/plot armor bs ) in comparison to other CDramas, that this alone was one of the factors that made me enjoy it.
I like the acting of Park Bo Young so it was okay for me. Was watching it at the side. If you dont have any actor/actress that you like here then I would not recommend it. Except if you are okay with a supposed to be smart ML MC that is plaing innocent/dumb/slow, then I guess it is a "okay" show.
Is this heavy? Heavy with political and more. Or just light hearted?
There is some political stuff in the first half and much political stuff in the last 6 episodes, but it is not the focus of the show and there is little plot armor in this regard.
The first 3 episodes were interesting, everything afterwards felt like it was just repeating all over. After ep8 I skipped to the last two episodes and guess what? The plot repeat again haha xD. MC doing whatever king tells him, somenbody kidnapping the doc, mc runs over to survive another beating, they meet up again. ughhh...
I feel like I will go mad... I get it okay??...but by stick to one girl.....I am already in end to finish the…
He marries Medusa first (because of deep feelings after beeng together a very long time and some interspecies energy/soul/refinement pregnancy shinanigans) and then Xun'er at the very end ( I think Xiao Yan denied his romantic feelings for Xun'er because he thought that he is not good enough for her, but realized at some point that she the girl that was alwas by his side and in his heart) .

You better read the novel (finished and its good) or the manhua ( going on ). This live action is pretty accurate in the first 20 episodes but then it just goes timewarp through the story especcially the relationship parts are cut out almost entirely. Also the girls in the novel are much more powerfull than it is shown here, I hope season 2 will have more romance in it . From my experience fantasy/wuxia stories end up with a harem (either gender), they end up like a big family that is okay with such a situation, or it's kind of sharing the "great" mc because he/she is like a god at this point and the lovers are fine with it (continuing bloodline / having great prodigies etc.).
I think my point of view was a little extreme but still my personal opinion and it did not change.

That alone makes the story 1/10
