Btw. Kim Sa Bu doesnt refer to himself as "Romantic Doctor", but by Teacher Kim. He mentions (I think two times) that he is a romanticist, like his philosophy or way of doing things, for example no hierarchy.

daaaaaaamn this was a pain to watch, just did it because ppl recommendet to watch the first season to understand the second season better. Well.. its true, it helped to understnad the bs corruption plotline and its ridiculous, but not bad.
My main problem was the character Kang Dong Joo. It's like watching a dog chase its own tail, but you have to watch it for 20h .

it was okay up to ep 9 , figuring out what Moo Young talked about every time he opened his mouth , afterward I mostly skipped because I got the feeling " ah.. again one of those, where the plot does not work if they'd talk about their true intentions.." and glad I did lol.
The end is like "whatever"

This is one of those dramas that I can still remember the plot of, even after one year.
When I think back, I kind of remember the ending in detail ( I am proud about my brain rn haha ).
This is at least a 7.8-8.0 btw, mdl needs to do another rating-bot-accounts clearing.

Ep 16/17 and it was beautiful btw

This was good, fluff, funny and over where and when it has to end. Also I like this kind of artistic presentation of feelings.

Uff, it was my first drama with Rowoon and I like his acting so far and a subordinate literally need to be protected by their ruler, so...
I can understand critique but sending hate comments to actors is just rude.
( I actually started this one because of a previous drama (DYLB) with Park Eun Bin I have watchend and was curious bout her playing a strong female lead character )
For me the story lost its drive half way trough and at ep 17 and I wished death upon all the good (for nothing) characters so this could finally end lol. this and some other minor things for a score below 8.

Sensual atmosphere, good story (at least until ~ep13) and charming leads. From around ep 14 the plot armor kicks in whenever and the show begins to drag.

You are right, since its a netflix show its certainly strange that there is no random gay sub plot. And in my opinion both the main characters were less "weak" but more like " extreme pacifists " in the wrong situations.
They were like " assassinating all the murderer no no no! " dying/killing random loyal guard : " must have been the wind ".. lol
A gender change would just make this a generic show with the male lead feeling even "weaker" in his new position.
And I certainly dont like the character Jung Ji Woon regardless of male or female lead because every fight scene he was just there to beeing cut haha, it was too predictable and booring.

after watching it I now understand what you ppl were talking about, I feel like I have wasted my time with this ending....
And yes the body swap was smh poor executed/not authentic , would have been better if they made the switching more obvious and keep the actors but crossdress in the different characters, would be more funny in my opinion.

I mean the viewer basically got told that there was a story betwen the main characters BUT "let's show them a fictional story of the real story that is only the first 4 minutes of ep1 and 5 last minutes of ep 26" Damn, I'd rather keep it clean and fiction or have the real thing...

I made notes about a few nice things in ths drama, but after beeing confused about the beginning for 26 episodes and getting rickrolled in the last episode I feel stupid for watching it.... ( and it was good too !!! )

thx for this summary, after reading the main story summary I had already the feeling "this would be a pain in the a** to watch", but now I have the confirmation lol

Started out good and got forcefully overcomplicated in the last 10 episodes. It got kind of booring , took me almost 4 weeks to finish the last episodes. In my opinion the initiated crisis has not been resolved in a satisfactory manner.

This was a good silly show. I would go in it without expectations and honestly the first 3 episodes are pretty bad. Acting is a good little over the top ( I loled 2 times).

Holy shit! While browsing top actors and actress I just realized that Suzy and Jung So Min are different people fml I am blind!

Started out good, then went downhill in the last 5 episodes. Actually both the ML and FL characters carried the story for me and gradually became worse in the end. I liked especially Chae Song Ah which was brave, caring and didnt judge people by moment of misunderstanding, she would directly ask and listen to what exactly occured and clear up the misunderstanding.... until.. yep, her character takes a 180 turn over ~1,5 episodes and she just goes in the "bitch I dont even care, lets break up" mode..
Which is somehow understandable because Park Joon Young also makes a slow 180 turn from "I will share my problems with you because a relationship works only with two ppl sharing all their bad and good times" to "not gonna involve my SO in to my life and lets pile up all the problems to create a significant plot fk up"
In the end the plot turned out very predictable.
Good points were visuals , acting and especially the production.
Now I am off watching more Park Eun Bin dramas.
