It's a shame that Lusi is the MFL because I can't stand her as an actress the only thing that I actually liked…

I was looking forward to this drama, but then i saw Zhao Lu Si as the female lead and I just lost interest. I…
Always Lu Si in new dramas? That's such an exaggeration. She only has two short dramas. Ding Yu Xi's two dramas are airing right now at the same time.

As for always playing that kind of role: Isn't the female lead in chinese dramas almost always like that? And as a rookie actress, you can't be choosy about your roles. You have to establish an acting carreer first.

Person Zhao Lu Si
Wanted to watch "love of thousand years" and "love better than immortality" but had to give up because of her.…
I'll never understand the need to leave mean comments. When you speak negatively about someone, it doesn't reflect the person; it reflects the kind of person you are . I believe in karma. If you speak badly about someone, then the universe will correct it in some way. So if you don't have anything nice to say, don't say it at all. I'm a firm believer of this saying. But, hey, it's a free world.

I hope there will be no love triangle and petty jealousy.
It'd be more interesting to have two couples (Reba x Leo and Lu Si x Yu Ning) to cheer for.

I dont like her at all. she does decent job in acting. she should be play second role like servant girl or something.…
That's your opinion. You have no right to decide who should get a leading role and who not. But you can decide what dramas you choose to watch. Just don't watch her dramas if you don't like her. It's as simple as that.

Is this actually airing? But can't see at which network this is airing tho...
I don't think it's airing anywhere. :(
It was supposed to air on Mango TV.
But Mango TV changed the release date from Feb 1, 2020 back to "2020".

Title Dating in the Kitchen Spoiler
18 year age gap
The movie version "This Is Not What I Expected (2017)" had an age gap of 19 years between the leads. They had no kiss scene. I can't remember if they even hugged each other even once the whole movie. I can only remember them holding hands at the end of the movie.
