I watched 4 episodes and there are some issues with the way the story flows in the drama. I am not sure if it is because of editing or they just didn't write the scenes well enough. It feels like there is no connective tissue, they just put scenes together and leave you figure out how they are supposed to be connected.
For example, the scene of her waking up as a concubine. We don't realize that she lost her full memory until the middle of the whole scene after he enters her room. Cause she wakes up and it appears that she doesn't remember how she got in the room and how she got to be a concubine. But then, she actually lost all her memory and doesn't even remember who she is? Why not make it more clear the moment she wakes up?
I think overall all these little things add up and you just feel so confused. And i understand that you are meant to be a bit confused, cause they keep playing up not knowing which of the personalities is out every day. But it's just not done well, i can't tell which of the personalities is which until pointed out. Welp, i thought i would enjoy the drama, but i don't think i will continue watching

They chose to use BTS songs due to the drama happening in 2013, the year BTS debuted. And also because of BTS' popularity. Now stop acting so bitter and go do something productive

While i understand that it breaks the immersion when you know japanese and you can hear the accents, i don't think hiring japanese actors would be a good idea. The public would go crazy, because it's like letting japanese people go back in time to torture and say slurs to korean people. Thinking about the history between the two countries, it would be a really bad idea.

I really enjoyed the drama. I would have probably wished to see a bit more of the reunion scenes at the end and seeing all of them happy together. But it's fine, it was a good ending
