not much actions - so far. But still it keeps me SO interested, especially the last few minutes of ep 4! If you…
I find it interesting how we have tastes that are so different. I watched most of the Korean historical dramas, and Moon lovers, hwarang and river when the moon rises were some of my least favourite. Although they had some of my favorite actors, i just couldn't get into them. I usually don't hear much good stuff about Hwarang so it was surprising to see. You might like Queen Seon Deok, although it has politics, it's about Hwarangs, it has lots of fights and the main villainess is just badass. As for Moon lovers, it felt like it had all the stuff i didn't like from Chinese historical dramas. I am trying really hard to watch a lot of those, but they just become really confusing to me...
I got to love more serious setting dramas, like Queen Seon Deok and Dae Jang Geum. That's why i mostly gravitate towards dramas such as The Crowned Clown and The Red Sleeve.
Of course i like the more romance dramas too, like The Moon Embracing the Sun and SungKyunkwan Scandal. And i kinda wish that there were more historical dramas that could be more lighthearted, but the most recent ones were pretty disappointing... I tried watching The King's Affection and it felt like i was watching some middleschoolers play the royal family... Other mostly non royal family setting were also really dull, like Moonshine and Secret Royal Inspector and Joy.
why do the clothes of the king and the ministers have so many folds? I had never seen anything like it, it distracts…
It's meant to be padding for winter. I never saw it like that for court officials and the King, but it could be true that they used that during heavy winters.
I think the romance will play some role but I think other stuff will take precedence. It's pretty dark in some…
Yeah, there is romance and their relationship and feelings for eachother will play a huge role in the drama. As her future in the palace will be determined by the king’s feelings. But it will be an angsty and difficult ride for both of them.
They can not reveal Jung's real identity, not even her status as the crown princess. Her family as incorrectly…
I think she still has some leverage as if her identity is discovered, it will be Park's fault for deceiving the court and faking the identity of his niece. If she dies, she drags Park down with her.
no wonder koreans thinks hanfu are theirs. these "hanbok" are no different from hanfu. well its not us chinese…
That's not even the type of Hanbok Korean people want to claim as theirs. This movie depicts the Goryeo dynasty which had more similar clothing with China at that time. And even before then, you could try to search for clothes from Shilla, Goguryeo or Baekje, those were again similar with China. The Hanbok Korean people most identify with are those from the Joseon period, and those were indeed unique to them. Maybe do a bit of research before trying to get some reaction here...
Leads meeting as kids always has me rolling my eyes. Overlooking that, the first 2 eps were quiet solid. Excited…
I think the story is somewhat similar to "The moon embracing the sun" in the fact that the leads met as kids, they got married but due to politics the female lead is known to be dead. But Bloody hear will make the story more about the female lead taking revenge for her family. I thought the meeting as children story was obviously necessary that's when her family died. I don't think they could have made the revenge story work without showing those scenes.
Anyone find the pacing of this drama weird? its like they either cut out a lot of part or just didn't film any…
I had the same feeling. The pacing is weird. It feels like i can't really focus that much as we are not given a bit of time between scenes to refocus on the new one. The lack of transition scenes is really obvious.
why can't people understand that ratings are subjective?? That's just your opinion, for someone else the drama…
Where was i impolite? It's you who can't accept what people rated this drama as.... like you can't influence the other people watching how to rate the drama. It's just unnecessary
Y'all just need unnecessary things to hate this right? If their bed scene didn't happened y'all would be like…
It really feels so nitpicky. And even if they are awkward, that's just how couples are. Do you think everyone's first night's together are like a top rated p*rn video? People are awkward too. Stop hating so much....
i am not sure if i really want to watch the last 2 episodes... The story was building so well and then from what i read the ending is very underwhelming. I am just going to pretend i completed the drama without knowing the ending
Listen...I'm a big fan of this drama and I REALLY enjoy watching this and i know co-fans will hate me for saying…
It doesn’t matter, it’s a fun drama, why should it not have a high rating? Usually only more serious dramas get high rating. This one was so hyped and loved by everyone.
Hope Grandpa's dialogue is Ha Ri's imagination, i don't want another old trope like take money leave honey 🥲🥲🥲🥲It…
In the webtoon the discussion was more like “if you don’t plan on marrying him, please don’t meet him anymore” And this is one of the moments that leads to Hari deciding to get married to him.
All along grandpa was rooting for them. Here i think Hari will reveal that she is Geumhee
i don't think it's a plothole. It might be that Minchae found out who is Yi Jin but it was just not shown to us. When she asked grandma about it, she was really vague in her response. All this back and forth is just the writers trying to play with us. You know how you can cut one scene out of it and make it seem like something else.
He aged in the meantime just like Heedo, and it's meant to keep us on our toes. It makes no sense to get Heedo married with someone else and still not show us who that is yet.
