I've never seen a story, whether it be a tv show or a webcomic or a manga or a novel, with a more unlikeable leading lady. She literally just sucks. She's selfish and callous, she feels so much hatred towards her ex's fiancée... but in the first place, the ex had been interested in (possibly even dating?) the other girl and had only gotten together with our leading lady because she threw herself at him so relentlessly. Like yeah, I wonder why *that* didn't work out.
And then she straight up plagiarised story beats from a VR dating sim and passed them off to an author she was working with as if they were her own organic ideas. An author she hates for being "difficult" despite never trying to meet the author where she's at and offer the kind of positive feedback she obviously thrives on - no, our leading lady is too busy feeling like the entire world is set up specifically to be awkward for her.

idk I wanted to like this because it has a few actors in it that I love, but um. Mi-rae just sucks. She absolutely kills the entire show. I've never disliked a leading lady so strongly.

"I wish they'd explicitly confirmed my personal ship in this show that is not and has never been a romantic…
look at it this way, kagari, at least neither of them got sent to Superhell. The Do Gi/Go Eun shippers are doing better than a lot of way more popular ships haha

I really don't think they edged anything, is the thing. People can be close without wanting to suck each others' faces about it.
And I'm sorry, I have to disagree with you, suddenly dropping an engagement bomb on two core characters with basically no lead-in, in the final episode of the show, would not "be a clever choice to wrap things up" for anyone except shippers. For everyone else, it'd be entirely out of left field and honestly kind of jarring.

Strong implication that this is the final season in the credits there... 😭 I'll miss this show very much if that's the case, but I do understand not wanting to run the concept into the ground, or wanting to free the actors to move on and do other projects without worrying about juggling their schedules too much.
But in my heart I'll be yearning for a season 4, even if I know it's a pipe dream.
(Edit: Or a movie. Imagine a movie oh god the dream.)

ugh I just had a thought that instead of rushing the last episode, if they took their time and had a scene where…
"I wish they'd explicitly confirmed my personal ship in this show that is not and has never been a romantic drama" lmao please T^T some ambiguity will not hurt you, not everything has to be romantic (personally I do not see it here) and not every ship has to be explicitly canon. Just write a fanfic. Ao3 is free.

> countries making it illegal to ask questions about what happened because the ww2 official narrative is so sacred and revered

I'm gonna be real with you but this sentence sounds like a smokescreen for holocaust denialism. The "official narrative" of ww2 isn't "sacred and revered" - it's historically proven and known fact. There are people still living who remember it. There are people whose parents and grandparents remember it. "asking questions" is not illegal, attempts to cast doubt on historical fact however is, in several European countries, considered hate speech because it often walks hand-in-hand with neo-nazi ideology, and no country wants to promote that nonsense in its populace.
Historical revisionism is not the intellectual position you seem to think it is.

Almost all of the cases shown in Taxi Driver are from real-life cases that plagued Koreans so you can expect plot…
Could the similarities perhaps be because they're possibly both based on the same news stories? Taxi Driver frequently creates episodes and plotlines based on real life (the UData plotline and the Black Sun plotline are very prominent and easily searchable examples.) Director Shin Hye Sun has seemingly said on record that "Don't Buy The Seller" is based on news from 2020. It's not unbelievable at all that they might both have been pulling from the same inspo sources here.

See, Swastika is a sacred symbol, going back thousands of years compared to the recent negative portrayal. It’s…
I think part of the reason the swastika receives a much more negative connotation than other nazi symbolism used is because it was so very prolific, and also a very recognisable and specific symbol in a way that colours and abbreviations kind of aren't. It evokes a very visceral reaction in westerners, because for many of us our first and only association with it is a memory of one of the worst times in the historical record, and some of the most horrific crimes against humanity.

Having said that, I'm not disagreeing with your comment overall, just trying to explain why so many westerners find it so shocking, even to see it in its actual true context.
Personally, I've long hoped that more exposure to eastern media and culture can begin to repair some of the damage to the image of the swastika that was done by the nazis' appropriation of it, because it's something fundamentally human. Did you know that there are equivalent or extremely similar symbols spanning almost the entire globe? Symbols like the triskele, found in many old european cultures (and still used in logos and architecture to this day), or the Pima symbol of the four winds found in some native american cultures. Even the swastika itself was found in Denmark in the 9th century. The swastika (and many similar symbols) is something that has been with humanity since time immemorial, and I really hope I live to see the day where it's no longer associated with vile hatred.

If he got therapy and overcame his trauma there'd be no show. The entire Rainbow Taxi Company is just one big maladaptive coping mechanism for everyone involved, not just Do Gi.

Regarding the most recent episodes. Do banks and credit cards not refund money if you dispute the charge in Korea?…
It depends on what sort of transaction took place. In America, I understand it's very common to use - essentially - credit-type transactions for everything, card-to-card transactions like visa, venmo, paypal etc. The types of transaction taking place in the recent episodes of Taxi Driver are different to that, they're bank-to-bank, using account numbers and sort codes to move money. This type of transaction is pretty instant, but there are almost no protections in place in the case of money being sent accidentally to the wrong account (or in the case of fraudulent transactions) - banks will frequently have messages on the transaction pages for these types of transaction warning people to make sure they've typed the destination account details properly, as recouping that money in the case of error is often basically down to the honour of the person who ended up receiving it.
