Title Hello, Me!
A fun and light-hearted watch (besides Aunt). This is probably the first main couple that I wouldn't mind as friends or lovers since they're cute and funny either way.

I really have to commend them for making young Hani and "Blue Bird" immature in their own ways yet NOT annoying in the slightest.

If you're referring to "whole vibe" of a show, no shit it can't be told from the first ep. General vibe and first impressions? Yes.

TFP's FL is pretty damn eccentric...coming from someone who has watched the drama. Bruh if I think Vincenzo's FL actress is overacting and you don't, let's agree to disagree. It's just a matter of opinion at this point.

Funnily enough, I DID in fact go back to rewatch TFP after watching Vincenzo's first ep. I only gave my opinion. I did not scroll down to argue with people and was merely stating my thoughts. I went into this show expecting comedy DUE TO COMMENTS, NOT because of the writer! I went in with an open mind in terms of story and how things will play out and have said- it did not suit my taste (for now). I only compared it to TFP AFTER realising similarities. As I have said, it can't be helped. Criticising the show once on first impression is okay. I'm not the type to hate and comment ep after ep, hence I drop things once I feel it isn't my type of show. Since both you and the other replier suggested I watch until ep 4, I will most likely comment to update my thoughts after that. I am not going in comparing it to TFP for the story. Lol i'm getting frustrated trying to get my point across.

And you said it yourself, you aren't watching it for the comedy aspect. I am, so of course we're looking for different things. I told the other replier that I will try continuing the series after it finishes airing. I've already mentioned I have never criticised the story itself so I am still open to that. Criticism is valid even if I don't bring TFP in.

I guess I'll try after the series has finished airing. Thanks for the push!

Yes, we all have our own tastes let's leave it at that. I'd have to say judging the acting, comedy and vibe of the show from ep 1 is fine. Not the story- which I never mentioned.

And no, it's not like I am comparing 2 very different characters. Both FL are supposedly eccentric AND started out prioritising money/power, hence my comparison. It can't be helped- I felt that she was trying too hard to be funny.

Not every drama by Jae Bum is going to have the same exact feeling, I AGREE. However, watching TFP, then Backstreet Rookie, then Vincenzo, they do TRY to carry the same feel. Both BR and Vincenzo didn't make me laugh, and that can't be helped. I expected them to make me laugh, but they didn't. I guess it was pointless to expect the same writer to humour me again.

I didn't let out even a chuckle during the first ep. Comedy felt more forced than I expected. Unfortunate since I was looking forward to the cast and a production by the same dude who made The Fiery Priest. The eccentric FL also feels like a sad shadow of the FL from TFP (who felt much more naturally funny). The "funny" tracks in Vincenzo sounded like classically-funny tracks (not as original), so much so that it was literally telling me when to laugh when there wasn't much to laugh at in the scene. Glad that there are plenty of people who find the show a great watch so far. I wished I shared the same humour to enjoy the show. I did check out JK's horseback scene in ep 8 though- was not going to miss that.

I watch dramas, especially rom-coms, to escape reality. I would never watch a sad endings for those. I get skeptical for k-movies with comedy genres because many booby-trap me with sad/half-sad endings. However, rom-coms aside, any other genre should have satisfactory endings in my book. Examples like crime- everyone gets what they deserve in the end. Mystery- nothing should be left hanging.

Overall, endings (last 1-2 eps) affect at least 20% of my rating. Happy endings that are rushed or come out of nowhere ruin the drama just as much as a sad ending for me. Sad feelings and emotions are great to insert in dramas but I don't want to be left sad by the end as it feels too hollow. Life is sad enough as it is.

Loved how they rounded this up MUCH MORE than the manga. Thank GOD it didn't head into "that" direction with the love triangle. Also glad there was much more added in terms of FL's family. Though I have to say- I definitely would have skipped on this if not for the webtoon. If I had watched this as something separated from the webtoon, I would say it's overrated and the cliche romantic or love triangle scenes were not for me.

If I went into a dude's body, I'd be like him- uncomfortable for the first 2 weeks before accepting my fate (I would still be attracted to guys, nothing about my sexuality changes). BUT unlike me, Bong Hwan was still sharing that body with the original owner. So, it's natural he would've felt comfortable quickly. Like the turning point with being comfortable in a skirt lol.

Hm so people who are unhappy with this ending should watch that one instead to satisfy their romantic fantasies.

How else do you expect it to end? Him remaining with SoYong still trapped in the same body? It was evident she shared the body with him and experiences everything he goes through while in her body. Which also means romantic scenes etc were orchestrated by SoYong. When she got hot and bothered the first time the king and her started making out, BongHwan slapped himself and asked her to hold back. I don't get why people are upset with the ending. South Korea is getting more "progressive" but I don't think that has anything to do with the show. The writer has made plenty of things clear from the start. In the end, the king felt "a part" missing. He was in love with a mix of both BH and SY. The romantic and cute side of SoYong is still believable enough for the king to love and miss her (as shown in the end).

I'm happy BongHwan went back. He deserves getting his life back after all the shit he went through.

The ENDING. Many are unsatisfied. Many are satisfied. I'M IN THE TEAM OF SATISFACTION.I guess the body swap happened…
I agree! Many people think that the playboy Bong Hwan had romantic feelings for the king but I really thought that throughout several instances, they had hinted it being So Yong since she shared the same body.
