That's the reality of asian fiction. if the characters are good looking its sexy and romantic and he doesn't mean it, he just love her too much and oh god it's so romantic she can impact him in that way, if one of them is not sexy then it's the beginning of a criminal minds episode. I've read too much novels with this logic. i'm glad to see that there are people who doesnt find it normal

its not only the bl industry. doesn't matter if it's bl or straight, I read enough straight novels to know. S.A is sexy as long as both characters are good looking. and if the male lead is handsome and rich, the female lead is expected to fall for him. It's just the reality of asian fiction.

I'm using the novel as a way to learn Thai so that's why I'm learning. but I have to warn you the English translation is almost unreadable at places. if you have a ocr program and chatgpt I recommend you doing your own tranaltion.

you should totally read the novel. I'm loving it. Toh is actually normal in the novel and when he's talking about photography he sounds really professional. I really like it so far.

I know what you mean. like the Toh in secret crush on you, the extraness not only makes the show cringey but also makes the actor a lot uglier. I didn't read the novel for middleman but Im reading the novel for secret crush, love novel Toh a lot more but tv toh is unwatchable. if compared to that middle man is a lot better. but it's just so dissapointing that they didn't show off the actors beauty. now that he's normal in this show, it's almost as if he isn't the same actor

it was cringe in areas but i liked the mindless fluff so much that I watched it 10 times already. it's my favorite show but if you ask me about the quality, all i can say is cliche plot, bad acting and very low quality set design. But I still watched it 10 times.

My advice? don't go in expecting much from the plot. just relax and have a good time. these two really do have wonderful chemistry and their interactions are so funny. NC scenes are very good and realistic like other Mame shows. it's a very relaxing and fun show and I see why a lot of people like it. it's not all because of the main couple, it's the vibe that makes me want to continue watching
