Wah, this drama. Everytime i cant find a drama to watch or im just bored, i usually hit for this drama. Plus ive…
i know this comment is old, but i got way too excited realizing we have the same feels, because well, around that year, whenever i was just running out of all the interesting dramas to watch, or just got disappointed or bored with watching another drama, this drama is like my meds, i need to watch it, and i think i have lost count already how many times i have watched it.
What was that I just watched the first episode and I have watched Boys over flowers (the Korean version) I just…
are you talking about the Korean version having horrible acting? then i agree with you! in k-version, i didn't really felt their acting, it was either exaggerated to annoying or bland like robot. specially the lead actress you played Jan Di, I can't stand her portrayal, no way Makino character be like that!! The only reason why I get to finish the k-version even if it was a pain to watch because it's horrible acting and plot, is that i want to give a fair review, unlike those who tried to drop that drama, which i can't blame them why they dropped it. hehe
This is the best version. The acting and the chemistry of all the casts are really great and leaving you wanting for more. It is great too that they made a final ending for this story.
My favorite version in ranking: first is this Japanese version, then the Taiwanese version then the Chinese version, then the Korean one. I guess the only version that the Korean may beat was the English adaptation which is by far the worst!
This drama is overrated , I prefer the Japanese version way better than this shit
Lee Min Ho in appearance (ie, tall, good looking) could be perfect Domiyouji but his acting here is meh! I still prefer the Matsumoto Jun and his acting. And for the story? I was actually, though i finished watching this drama, I swear I am not going to watch it again because of annoying acting of the female lead. I wonder how you got bored in the Japanese version, I could rewatch it anytime, I actually lost count how many times I have watched it and recommended it to non-asian drama fan-friends. But well of course, taste and preferences differ from one person to another. But then, for me when I did watch it, I have to skip a lot of scenes because they are way too boring. The music is okay for me, and that's it.
My 2nd Male Lead faves:
1. Rui in Hana Yori Dango - just like you to I really prefer Tsukasa, I also like Rui. And him not being chosen by Makino also breaks my heart.
2. Kang Shin Woo in You're Beautiful
3. Hiromitsu in Heroine Disqualified
4. Nakatsu in Hanazakari no Kimitachi
5. Han Taek Seok in Autum in my Heart
