People hate this because the story is about them
This is a drama about how corrupted the show business is. Sure, the stories aren't realistic or anything, but I still enjoyed it. One thing I remember is especially in the "Y idol" part of the show (episode 11 - 15) the main character and 2 others being referred to as "wives". This reminded me of the fact that some BL fans say things like that in real life. When talking about a bl pairing they refer to them as bottom, top, uke and seme. They always have to feminize one of them as well, like they just have to make it seem straight, or when you scroll on a video about a new BL series they always ask, "who's the top?" I even saw a comment saying, "who wears the dress in the relationship?" which is honestly just so damn disrespectful of gay men. As a queer woman, it reminded me of all the times men have said "two girls kissing! that's the dream :s" LIKE UGHHHH. Anyway, I'm trailing off so I just recommend this series because it is a statement about how weird the BL, KPOP and film industry is.
