I really like Kei×Yaku, BL or not. Minato Shouji Coin Laundry 2 was a struggle to get through and gave me similar trope rage as this one, but I did end up finishing it because I really liked the actors. I totally get why people dropped it though.

I so agree with you; I'm not invested in anything either. I've watched many JBLs and have only dropped one (Ameiro Paradox) but this one might join the list. On the other hand, I made it to the end of Zenra Meshi, so I'll give it one more episode and see.

Okay...okay...ngl, the first episode was a little rough. Probably more to do with Opal being a newbie. Every time he giggled though, it reminded me of the scene in Nitiman between Ball and Keam when they first meet (anyone know what I'm talking about?). Four-wheels' little giggle was so endearing, and now I wish he was in this show instead of Opal 😭. Still going to keep going though, I'm sure it'll smooth out over the next few episodes.

Rewatching the first few episodes is so much more entertaining knowing what happened and who was involved.

I just finished episode 5, and why am I not hating this?? The comments (and the rating) had me thinking this was a total dud. I would typically not like some shows that other people love (like PitBabe) but here it's the opposite. Does it get worse as it goes on? I'm so confused 🤨

I don't care what anyone else thinks, this is a work of fiction. I wanted a fairy-tale ending and got one. It was a beautiful series and I, for one, loved it 10/10.
